The location was beautiful .Perfect place if you are looking to stay in the resort.
Not so good if you want to go into town .

It was further away from town than anticipated but you can still get there.
There are several tours that can still take you into town for activities.
40km(1 hour away from town).
Decent location, seeing as it's beach front, but then again, so are most properties.
Where do I even start?
The electricity supply is on and off, there was an outage on arrival, that was our first impression.
Very limited breakfast options plus tiny portions. The prices for the drinks was ridiculous.(to give you context, normal soft drink costs 1000 tshs. At the hotel, same soda goes for 48000tshz.
The staff don't seen to know what they are all doing(while taking into consideration the language barrier). For example we asked for beach towels that never arrived, same goes for room cleaning once you send for something, the general rule is the staff disappears.Hospitality training is seriously seriously required.
The AC was too loud so it was hard to sleep( that's when it's on, due to power issues).
I could go on and on, but the cherry on top of this ridiculous experience was the hotel telling us to pay 84 dollars to eat from their NYE buffet manure since the kitchen didn't have any other food options: that's when we drove out.
Honestly, the general vibe is the place is trying to save at all costs but they are compromising on toi many areas for this, zero value for money.

Sansi Kae Beach Resort is in a great location, offering easy access to a beautiful beach and stunning surroundings. The pool and beach areas are fresh and inviting, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the tropical vibes.
However, there are a few downsides. The music at the pool area can be a bit too loud at times, which might not suit those looking for a quieter ambiance. Additionally, the bar and restaurant areas can get quite busy, leading to occasional delays in service. The rooms, while comfortable, could use a little freshening up to enhance the overall experience.

The best from hotel was F&B staff, they where very polite.
The power cuts where every day, not pleasant at all. Food wasn't the best, many people where from Europe so more continental food would help.

Prime location
The staff at Kae were very friendly and welcoming. Meals were tasty and varied during our stay. Buffet meals meant we were never hungry. The rooms were large, basic, but comfortable. The 2 swimming pools offered enough space for families with children and were always kept clean.
There were not enough beach loungers at times, especially midday when all guests were by the beach-front pool. Some bar staff lacked a friendly demeanor. I did not really enjoy the shared bathroom at the pool but the option to use the room bathroom was there.
Enjoyed the fresh fruit available at every meal, rest of the dishes were average.
Staff friendly, good service and accommodating with special requests.
Would have enjoyed more variety of meat for breakfast, like spicy mince or bacon and not chicken sausage only every morning.
Would have liked the offering of sauces and fresh chilies and garlic with meals.
Most of the dishes were prepared with coconut and/or bananas with no other choice of the same for a person with allergies to this.

We booked all inclusive but were told on arrival that there was no alcohol included and that there were 2 types of all inclusive deals. On booking.com there was only one option. The hotel manager was very good at sorting this out.
The room clean & spacious but definitely not 5star with a cracked bath and in need of updating.
Food was our biggest complaint…meat dishes ran out quickly, hardly any vegetarian options and on the whole very poor selection. Brick hard pasta. They even ran out of cold milk at breakfast.
This could easily be a five start accomodation if the owner invested in updating this resort. Lots of development around so they will need to up their game in the near future to survive the competition.
