Superbe vue un peu excentrée de la ville. Rooftop très sympathique. Abdul, le propriétaire, est très gentil et serviable, et nous a aidé pour toutes nos négociations!

Abdul is lovely host and will do anything to make your stay more comfortable and organise trip and tours at a reasonable price. The property is gorgeous and has gorgeous view of the balloons and valley of kings. Very peaceful away from the hustle and bustle of the town.

O alojamento fica muito bem localizado numa zona de prados verdejantes e vista desafogada. Pela manhã é possível ver os balões de ar quente passar enquanto tomamos o pequeno almoço no topo do edifício. A piscina é óptima para os dias de maior calor. A comida é maravilhosa e foi das melhores que comemos em todo o Egipto, tanto que acabamos por fazer todas as refeições no alojamento. Para ir e vir do cais do ferry em Luxor basta apanhar um tuk tuk por 50egp cada trajeto.
O uber não funciona nessa zona pois estão sempre a tentar extorquir mais dinheiro (comum nos egipcios sempre a tentar enganar os turistas pois para eles somos carteiras abertas com dinheiro) com mensagens privadas mas o In Drive é uma excelente alternativa (em todo o Egipto na verdade).
A propriedade disponibiliza passeios a todas as atrações na localidade mas confirmem bem os preços pois encontrámos sempre mais barato noutros locais. Penso que eles inflacionam bastante os preços.

Superbe séjour au Quiet Gates Guest House.

Si l’hôtel ne paye pas de mine à première vue, mais il s’est agréablement découvert au fur et à mesure de notre séjour tant il accumule les à côté positifs.

Pour commencer, la vue dont on jouïe depuis le rooftop sur les montagnes abritant la vallée des rois est tout bonnement à couper le souffle. Et quand s’élève les montgolfières au petit matin pour survoler ce paysage, on a vraiment le sentiment de vivre un moment magique

La nourriture (spécialement les petits déjeuners dont on a largement profité mais également les autres repas), était un véritable régale

Par ailleurs, l’hôte se coupe vraiment en quatre pour organiser nos excursions (voiture et guide le cas échéant) en fonction de nos besoins, à des prix parfaitement raisonnables, ce qui a été un véritable confort pendant notre séjour

Enfin en ce qui concerne la localisation, je craignais que l’hôtel ne soit trop excentré mais il n’en est rien. Si effectivement rejoindre la Est Bank coûte un petit billet compte tenu de la distance, nous sommes en revanche à proximité des principales attractions de la West Bank. À noter que l’hôtel est également à 5 min à pied d’un petit village où se trouve plusieurs excellents restaurants ainsi que les colosses de Memmon !

La chambre d’hôtes est très bien placée au calme, avec une vue superbe sur les champs et la montagne. La vue du toit terrasse est juste fantastique !
La famille est très sympa et a fait tout son possible pour répondre à nos attentes. Nous avons mangé sur place et c’était bon et avec un bon rapport qualité prix.

I had a very peaceful stay with incredible views from the roof
terrace and easy access to the sites.
The family were welcoming and helpful and the home cooked breakfast and generous evening meal were both local and delicious.
The place was clean, the beds comfortable and the WiFi was good.

Las vistas al Valle de los Reyes son impresionantes. Tiene una terraza muy bonita desde la que se ven volar los globos muy cerca. El personal es muy amable, te ofrecen cena y te hacen sentir como en casa. Te gestionan la reserva en globo.

La vista por la mañana, es un poco difícil de llegar pero una vez estando ahí tienes vistas maravillosas

We had a really lovely stay at this guesthouse and would gladly recommend it to anyone coming to Luxor who’s looking for something quiet and genuine. The hosts are kind, open, and sincere, and there’s an easy warmth to the place that makes you feel welcome right away.

The rooftop was a real highlight, with beautiful views of the Theban Hills and the surrounding countryside. The guesthouse sits right at the edge of the village, where the houses fade into green fields, and being surrounded by farmland gives it a calm, rural feel that’s deeply relaxing.

The location is excellent. It’s an easy walk to the Colossi of Memnon, and the walk toward the Valley of the Kings takes you through sugarcane fields, which is an experience in itself. You’re close to all the main West Bank sites, yet the area stays peaceful and free from traffic and crowds.

The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed, including reliable hot water, and nothing felt lacking. Breakfast was excellent and clearly made with care, with a generous and varied spread each morning. Having it included in the room price was a real bonus.

Overall, this guesthouse offers the best of both worlds: close to the sights you come to Luxor for, but peaceful, rural, and full of local character. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Todo la verdad

Manzara oldukça güzel. Geceleri krallar vadisinin bulunduğu dağ ışıklandırılıyor ve güzel görünüyor. Gündüzleri balonlar hemen önünüzde oluyor ve yeşil alanın üzerinde çok güzel manzara oluyor. Çevre sakin ve sessiz kaostan uzak. Konumu krallar vadisi ve memnon heykellerine ve balonların kalkış alanına yakın.

Me gustó mucho el lugar , todo muy limpio y en orden , abdu es muy amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudarte, lo recomiendo
