Momi Slow Living Hotel

Momi Hotel is truly one of the most beautiful and peaceful places we’ve stayed at. The hotel feels very private and relaxing, surrounded by stunning nature and olive trees everywhere. The landscape around the hotel is simply incredible.
The pools were amazing, one large and lively, the other more quiet, secluded and closer to nature. The food was exceptional: delicious breakfasts with plenty of choice and beautiful fine dining in the evenings. Every dinner felt like a small gastronomic journey.
A special thank you to the staff. Probably the best service we’ve ever experienced. Everyone was so kind, friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive. Every request was handled effortlessly.
Cleanliness, food, and service was at the highest level. We will definitely come back.

Die Hotelanlage ist wunderschön gestaltet, das Design ist schlicht und sehr stillvoll. Es ist sehr ruhig, auch nachts. Das Frühstücksbuffet erfüllt alle Wünsche. Das Personal hat uns verwöhnt und war immer überaus hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Hotelleitung war immer präsent und man hat gemerkt, dass es allen wirklich wichtig war, für die Gäste einen aussergewöhnlichen Urlaub zu bieten.

We were absolutely delighted with our stay at this hotel and left feeling truly happy with the entire experience. First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the staff, who did an outstanding job and surrounded us with genuine care and attention throughout our stay.

I chose this hotel to celebrate my birthday, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. Whenever any minor questions arose, the team handled everything promptly and efficiently, making our stay even more comfortable and stress-free. As a thoughtful gesture for my birthday, the hotel surprised us with several special treats, which made the celebration feel even more magical.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable getaway.

I would also like to highlight the food, as it truly deserves special mention. Both breakfast and dinner were incredibly delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. Every meal left us smiling and completely satisfied.

The hotel offers two swimming pools: a smaller, more relaxing one perfect for sunbathing and unwinding, and a larger pool with a bar, where you can enjoy a great selection of tasty cocktails in a lively atmosphere.

As an extra birthday surprise, we were upgraded for one night to a room with a private pool. We were absolutely thrilled — it was an amazing experience that made our stay even more special.

We stayed at Momi Hotel for 7 nights at the end of April. Although the hotel was well booked, it never felt busy or hectic like many other resorts can. Instead, there was a wonderfully calm, leisurely, and relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay.

The hotel grounds are beautifully laid out, with the swimming pool as the central focal point, surrounded by reception, the bar seating area, and plenty of sun loungers for relaxing. The whole resort is designed to feel like a traditional local village, built using natural materials and incorporating authentic elements of Cretan vernacular architecture. Each room is set up as its own private apartment, which adds to the sense of privacy and comfort.

The rooms are spacious, stylishly curated, and blend elegance with traditional charm. They are well equipped with air conditioning, a fridge, kettle, coffee machine, and an excellent shower. The housekeeping team maintained the rooms to a very high standard every day.

Our reservation included breakfast and dinner, both served in the spacious dining room. We ate there for most of our stay, and the buffet was consistently varied, offering something for every taste. Special compliments to Head Chef Andreas — every meal was delicious, full of flavour, and made with fresh local ingredients. Also, a big thank you to restaurant manager Kostas for ensuring each dining experience felt personal, intimate, and well organised.

The standout part of our stay at Momi Hotel was undoubtedly the staff. Every member of the team was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They contributed greatly to the relaxed atmosphere, and nothing ever felt rushed or hurried.

A special mention to the bar staff, Daniel and Florin, who were exceptional — always on point with their drinks and impressive cocktail knowledge. We also enjoyed the in-house spa treatments, which were fantastic and left us feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated.

Všetko bolo skvelé! krásny, esteticky zariadený hotel s príjemnou atmosférou. Personál bol veľmi milý, ochotný a vždy nápomocný. Veľmi sme si užili aj jedlo, ktoré bolo naozaj vynikajúce.

Ruhig gelegen mit tollen Blick auf das Meer und den Ort Limenas Chersonisou, ist dieses kleine Hotel ein echtes Juwel und könnte nicht schöner das griechische Flair widerspiegeln. Hier vereinen sich Moderne und Tradition. Von der Begrüßung bis zur Verabschiedung war die Wärme und Herzlichkeit dieser Insel und ihrer Menschen spürbar. Als Gast fühlt man sich hier wirklich gesehen. Die Zimmer sind sehr stylisch und passen perfekt zum Rest der Anlage. Der hauseigene Restaurantbereich ist großzügig gestaltet und geht in den Gartenbereich über, sodass man draußen oder drinnen immer einen Platz findet. Hier wird alles frisch vor den Augen der Gäste zubereitet und ist so lecker angerichtet, dass es schwer fällt sich nicht endlos durch zu probieren. Mich hat besonders das kleine Freilichtkino überrascht. Was für ein schöner Ausklang des Tages, mit einem Glas Wein in der Hand Mama Mia zu schauen. Für uns war es die erste Reise hierher, aber ganz sicher nicht die Letzte. Diese Insel ist erstaunlich vielfältig. Da braucht es einen ruhigen Ort, um alle Eindrücke des Tages zu verarbeiten und die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Momi Slow Living war für uns dafür das perfekte Habitat.

Alles! Vanaf de aankomst tot het vertrek op en top vriendelijk personeel die er alles aan doen om je verblijf onvergetelijk te maken. Manager Yannis zet écht alles op alles om je te helpen. Al onze verwachtingen overtroffen. Daarnaast heeft het resort een hele fijne ligging (net buiten het centrum, dus lekker rustig) en is er zowel bij het ontbijt als diner ontzettend goed eten dat dagelijks wisselt. Vers en gezond. Het resort is heel goed verzorgd, schoon en iedereen is vriendelijk. We zouden hier ieder jaar terugkomen als het kon en zouden het iedereen aanraden om hier te verblijven.

Wir waren hin und weg vom gesamten Personal – alle waren unglaublich aufmerksam, herzlich und zuvorkommend. Besonders Manager Yannis hat sich hervorragend um alles gekümmert und stets dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns rundum wohlfühlen konnten.

Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und wurden täglich gründlich gereinigt. Auch das gesamte Hotel ist äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr gepflegt, sodass man sich sofort entspannen kann.

Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen! :)
