My Grandfathers House Dana Heritage and Eco Lodge

Dîner traditionnel très copieux et excellent petit-déjeuner (très bon rapport qualité-prix). L'emplacement en contrebas du village offre une vue magnifique. Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié la randonnée organisée avec Mohamed, le fils de Walid.

Der Sohn des Hauses hat uns ganz herzlich betreut. Wir haben ein sehr gutes Abendessen mit lokalen Speisen bekommen und der Ofen im Zelt war gut geheizt. Auch das Frühstück war sehr gut. Die Umgebung ist traumhaft.

Walid est très accueillant, sa famille adorable. Ils sont très gentils, souriants, il nous a amené voir le coucher de soleil dans son 4x4, nous avons passé une superbe soirée amusante et conviviale ! Merci pour votre gentillesse.

We had a lovely stay with a lovely host family .
The whole family is so welcoming and caring . Walid organized a perfect hike ( Wadi Ghweir ) for us and after that we could relax in his beautiful garden .
We booked breakfast and dinner , everything was fresh prepaired and tasty .
We had a great time in an amazing nature . Would like to come back another time .

Lovely family run place in the small village of Dana. Great experience!!

We loved staying with Walid and meeting the kids (who are fantastic, and a total delight.) The property is amazing, with old stone buildings. We had a wonderful dinner and hung out dancing and chatting.

Waleed is extremely hospitable and helpful. If you ask, he can organize anything for you, from dinner (delicious!) to hikes in the beautiful trails in the area. A very authentic experience for a very good price.

The owner shared with us some interesting insights the place and a culture. The house and the area is really nice and the owner and his family was kind.

We had a great experience! We received a great treatment from all the family members. Delicious food and breakfast! It was very exciting to be in a typical house in Dana located in the old village where the trails in the reserve start. Highly recommend it, we would love to come back.

My Grandfather's House is a beautiful place at the end of small village Dana run by owner Waleed. It's nicely decorated property with beautiful rooms and good facilities including free washing machine, as well as garden overlooking the mountains. Waleed provided us homecooked breakfast and dinner in the traditional style, and organised amazing hiking in the mountains. Everything is reasonably priced and we enjoyed staying at his guesthouse

Very friendly family. Good food, great location, very quiet. Basic facility but correct.

Waled and his family were wonderful. His daughter Rachma was a joy. The room was lovely and the breakfast and home cooked dinner excellent. Brilliant views too.
