Pros:

Небольшой клубный отель, очень класное место - рядом остров с колониальной застройкой через 200 метров, метро напротив выхола в 50 метрах.

Cons:

Это очень маленький клубгый отель, не недейтесь на услуги. Номера очень маленькие, места нет даже для чемодана - он у вас будет ледать на полу. Вид на готод и реку, это вид на дорогу и немного на канал.

Очень удачное расположение: рядом исторические здания и станция метро — удобно и для прогулок, и для поездок по городу. Номер убирали чисто и регулярно. Порадовали мелочи: в номере был чай пуэр, современный унитаз с подогревом и всеми удобствами. Завтраки вкусные. Отдельное спасибо персоналу на ресепшен — девушки и парень очень приветливые и отзывчивые.

Cons:

Номер достался без окон. Слышимость очень высокая — всю ночь было слышно, как кашляют соседи. В душе постоянно стоял сильный запах сигарет, судя по всему, тянуло из соседнего номера. Ночью по потолку бегали крысы — это, пожалуй, самое неприятное. Телевидение платное, бесплатных нормальных каналов нет.

Second time in this hotel. Will probably be back again.
Pros:

Rooms are very modern, spacious and clean. Unfortunately Chinese guests do not respect the non smoking denomination of rooms and smoke everywhere, however, this is an issue in all local hotels in China.

Cons:

Make sure you spend a bit more and get a room with an outdoor window.

Friendly Hotel close to a lot of places.
Pros:

The Hotel is great for an overnight stop. There is plenty to do and places to eat and the Plaza is across the road. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms have just been modernised and are very comfortable. The breakfast was good.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A lovely stay in Guangzhou

I really enjoyed my stay at Lan Wan Hotel. It’s a smaller, locally run hotel rather than a large chain, but it opened in 2024, so everything feels fresh, clean, and thoughtfully designed.

I especially appreciated the thoughtful details in the room, including the smart toilet, voice-controlled lights and curtains, and the large vanity and wash basin with plenty of space. The room is a good size, with enough practical space to open and store luggage comfortably.

The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, from the front desk team to the room attendants. Everyone was polite, responsive, and always willing to assist whenever we had a request.

The biggest advantage for me, however, is the location. The hotel is right next to Huangsha Metro Station in Liwan District—you can practically walk out of the hotel and straight into the station. In a large city like Guangzhou, this is incredibly convenient.

Overall, it’s a comfortable, well-thought-out hotel with warm service and an excellent location. I would happily stay here again.
