Pros:

Wspaniała lokalizacja, przyjazny personel, wysoka tolerancja wobec turystów nawet w Ramadanie. Niesamowita wycieczka jeepem. Tańce przy ognisku. Super!

The camp is run by a very, very nice family ♥️
Pros:

The treatment of the staff was more than wonderful, from reception and guides. Everyone was of the highest morals. The rooms are clean and have all the necessary needs. Our guide, Rashid, was more than wonderful. We enjoyed a jeep safari trip and sand boarding. The Bedouin dinner of zarb cooked under the sand was the traditional dinner in Wadi Rum. I highly recommend this place because it exceeded expectations

Cons:

recommend this place

Passable
Pros:

The camp was quiet as there were not many guests in this period. The chef's cooking was delicious, although it needed more protein, especially for the price (15JOD for dinner). Breakfast was average (included in the price), in terms of quantity it did well, I think. Although it is very carb-heavy, with a hard-boiled egg. The deluxe room was comfortable with an ensuite. As for the staff, Mohammed the driver was probably the best part of the camp as he brought me on the jeep tour and made the trip fun with this commentary. Likewise with most of the other staff, who were very accommodating.

Cons:

The location of the camp is no where near where it is stated to be on Booking.com. This, coupled with the younger gentlemen's (the younger Hussein) hard sale tactics (talking over the top of me and ignoring what I was trying to say with constant appeals to "the best deal" or "a good price" for me), was quite infuriating. This probably put a damper on the whole trip. The forceful attempts at closure of a sale was a bit too obvious and amateur, using the impending train time I had to catch as a way of trying to make me and other guests decide upon, and pay for, tours that we had no idea about (other than what he was saying).

Perhaps what made it all the more worse was then the emotional (and relentless) attempts at trying to guilt guests into purchasing higher priced tours that I voiced multiple times that I did not want. As if just because he supposedly "already spent one hour talking with [me]" and that he "just wanted [me] to enjoy [my] time in Wadi Rum", for the price of 70JOD for a 4 hour Jeep tour (which I did not take), that it meant some how that I was being disrespectful to the process or to him.
I certainly did not appreciate the threats to charge me for ferrying me to and from the visitor centre (which was where the Booking.com pin drop of this camp is actually located - again THIS IS FALSE!!!).

Furthermore, the price of dinner was 15JOD which I do not think was worth it for what we had. At least that was what I was personally charged but prices vary amongst guests it seems. But if you're in this camp, you have no choice to pay whatever they request as there is literally no way of accessing anything else. The fact that the camp's location was highly isolated (outside the protected area) should, I think, required them to highlight their prices up front before guests decide to commit to booking a night's stay here.

Pros:

We had a wonderful time at Wadi Rum everybody was friendly and welcoming Faisal was an amazing host, he introduced us his birth village and hosted us for a traditional Arabic coffee which (:was an unique experience

For breakfast we were offered filling and fresh food, dinner was also delicious (traditional Bedouin style) and large .variety of meals we could choose from

We went to a jeep tour, where we were taken around in the desert to see the spots where famous movies were shot. Once in a lifetime experience. :) not to mention the camel ride to the sunset, .superb program

The desert in Wadi Rum is amazing, highly recommended to visit if you are in (: Jordan

Everything was excellent! We were greeted by the most hospitable family, who offered us a full authentic experience: Jeep tours at sunset, camile tours at sunrise, traditional dinner with music and dance, delicious breakfast. The tant were extremely clean and warm, they even provided us with traditional coats so we felt like part of the family :) and great tea

Exceptional
Pros:

Would I stay here again? Definitely! Is it a place for pretentious travelers? Probably not, but the place, the personnel, the view are awesome! The room was very spacious, clean, cozy, the beds were really comfortable. You can watch the sunrise from your bed. Each room has a small terrace you can enjoy. It was one of the best adventures ever, we were sad we didn't stay 2 nights.

Cons:

The bathroom really needs some hangers. Waters goes everywhere and you don't have a place to put your things on. Breakfast could use some improvement as well, it was a little dry.

everything was amazing
Pros:

everything was amazing! It was our first time in Wadi Rum and we couldn't have chosen a better stay! In fact we were so sorry we had to leave! The people are absolutely wonderful especially Faisal, in every way, very kind, polite, happy to help anytime. The campsite is excellent, especially if you are looking for the best spots to take photos and relax! The rooms are very clean, with private bathrooms and overnight AC/heaters, the beds are comfortable and the dining area is great!! And yes, the food is great for both breakfast or dinner!!!! All this at an excellent price!! We already know we will be coming back here next time we visit Wadi Rum and highly recommend the Rum Darin camp!! Thank you for everything, you guys are the best hosts ever!!!

Worth it as an experience in the desert
Pros:

The staff was friendly, the location was great, we could see the sunrise from there. We had a jeep tour and saw lovely places, made pictures at sunset. It was in Ramadam period, but tourists were not affected by it. If you like their beduin tea (it is very tasty), bare in mind that it contains caffeine 😊 we had dinner with local specialities and water to drink all the time.

Cons:

The room was great and clean, the bathroom not. We didn't have enough toilet paper and the water was gathering in the shower which was also loud. I didn't have many expectations for a desert shower, but minimum requirements were not as expected.

Amazing location, amazing jeep tour, nice manager
Pros:

The location is amazing! The manager made us a discount for going on a jeep tour to the desert due to the fact that we arrived late and the tour took 3 hours instead of 4. Also, he took us for free on a short star gazing tour and he was very friendly, told us many information about Jordan and Wadi Rum desert. Also, it had many facilities, despite it is located in a remote location in the desert. The sunset and sunrise can't be described in words.

Cons:

The cleanliness and breakfast can certainly be improved.
