Pros:

Die Lage war gut und das Essen sowie Frühstück waren okay.

Cons:

Leider ist die Unterkunft nicht grade Liebevoll. Alles wirkte etwas vernachlässigt. Unter anderem funktionierte die Toilette nur bedingt.
Ein Teil des Personals war ziemlich oft unangenehm betrunken so dass am nächsten Tag oft noch die Kronkorken und Müll auf dem Gelände verteilt lagen.

Loved it, but not for everyone
Pros:

We loved it here and would not hesitate to stay again if we were on ometepe. The beds were comfortable and clean, the rooms had fans and aircon, the Wi-Fi was amazing, the food was excellent, we woke up right on the beach and watched stunning sunsets whilst sipping beers. The staff were friendly and helpful, Fernando was welcoming and the tunes in the bar were great. However, other people may find fault in that the rooms were basic with little furniture beyond the beds, the showers were cold and the menu was a bit limited - didn’t bother us, but just an FYI.

Die Lage ist ein Traum! Essen war auch sehr lecker! Alle waren sehr freundlich! Ein echtes Jueel am See :)

Cons:

Das Bad wäre Renovierungsbedürftig (Wasser läuft nicht ab, kein Druck beim Wasser, Ameisen,..) und der Weg der zur Unterkunft führt war sehr holpprig..

Kleines Juwel mit wunderschönen Sonenuntergängen

Liebe auf den ersten Moment ❤️ und mein Geheimtipp für diese Insel. Ich habe sofort nach meiner Ankunft einen super netten lustigen Abend mit 2 Stammgästen der Unterkunft und Besitzer Fernando bei super Essen und einen wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang auf der Terrasse verbringen dürfen. Danke Fernando für deine Gastfreundschaft und deinen super Vibe.
Die Unterkunft hat ein super bewertetes Restaurant mit wunderschönen entspannten Sonnenuntergängen und ist Stammlokal der Locals, während sich nebenan in den Lokalen zum Massentourismus beim Sonnenuntergang treffen und sogar mit Bussen hingekarrt werden. Horror.
Ich hatte das Basic Zimmer, das super sauber war und ein sehr bequemes Bett hatte. Super leckeres Frühstück mit super Auswahl war inklusive. Unfassbar gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis.
Fernando bietet Kayaktouren im nahe gelegen Fluss an, bei denen man Kaimane, Schildkröten, Vögel, Fledermäuse und wunderschöne Vegetation sieht.
Fernando hat mir einen super Roller und Taxis zu super Preisen organisiert.
Alles in allem ist die Unterkunft ein kleines Juwel auf der naturbelasseneren Südinsel. Auch wenn es etwas weiter weg von den Fähren ist, würde ich auf jeden Fall wieder hierher kommen.

Würde ich niemals wieder buchen

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr idyllisch am See. Das Frühstück war auch gut. Das Personal ist freundlich.

Ich habe die Unterkunft gebucht, weil die Bewertungen so gut sind. Und auch wenn das Personal wirklich nett war, war dies eine der schlechtesten Unterkünfte, in denen ich jemals war. Das Zimmer war tatsächlich eine Katastrophe und dürfte meiner Meinung nach so nicht vermietet werden. Das Badezimmer war sehr eklig, sehr sehr alt und eigentlich überall kaputt. Einen Spiegel gab es auch nicht. Nur einen Nagel in der Wand. Es hat mich wirklich Überwindung gekostet, die Toilette und die Dusche zu nutzen. Ich verstehe nicht, wie man so etwas über booking buchen kann.

A wonderful stay filled with great food, beautiful views, and unforgettable moments with friends.
Pros:

Our group of friends had an amazing time at Caballito Mar! The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with stunning views that make you want to stay longer. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, homemade, and full of flavor. Everyone loved it! A hidden gem we’d definitely come back to.

Cons:

The only thing I didn’t like was the entrance to the place. The road leading there is quite rough and rocky, which makes it a bit challenging to get to, especially if you’re not in a sturdy vehicle. It’s definitely worth the effort once you arrive, but the access could be improved to make the experience even better.
