Great value hotel and bar / restaurant
Pros:

Great staff and service. Lovely location right on the waterfront. Rooms are good, clean and, on the date of the visit, good value for money. Plenty of hot water.
Good parking facilities.

Cons:

Not sure that the accommodation would be suitable for the frail or disabled as there are stairs involved. Restaurant though does have access.
It is about a kilometre walk from the village centre.

Great stay on the shores of Lough Swilly
Pros:

Lovely location by Lough Silly shore. Bedroom and beautiful restaurant both overlooking the water and the shore is lit up when the light has gone to allow you to still enjoy the lapping water. Staff and chef were very attentive and handled my gluten and lactose intolerance with care. Gluten free menu with many options and Chef made up a special dairy free version of the gluten free pepper sauce for my steak... both delicious! Lots of Gluten free Breakfast options including a delicious full fry. Small version was plenty and great value for money as was the evening meal. If booked directly the breakfast would have been included in an offer, so good to check. Really enjoyed our stay, thank you to all!

Cons:

Only thing missing from the menu was an unbattered fish option, although there were local mussels and prawns.

Despite the few minor issues, we still loved our stay and would return, great value for money.

Cons:

No toiletries, toilet didn’t flush properly, few large watermark stains on top of drawers, sink didn’t run cold water. Didn’t have a number to contact management.

Pros:

Very comfortable rooms and lovely location overlooking the water. Self check in, and out of season the adjacent restaurant is only open at the weekend, but plenty of places to eat a short walk away.
