Room was basic.There was no luggage rack. We had to put our cases on the floor. There was no chair or dressing table in the room. The sideboard had the coffee station and TV on it.
The fire alarm went off during the night. We evacuated to the carpark but there was no staff resident in the hotel to give direction or take a roll call.
El hotel tiene unas vistas muy bonitas y el restaurante-pub tiene un ambiente muy chulo. La habitación pequeñita, pero bien.
Nadie hace el check-in ni el check-out. No tienen desayuno. Nuestra habitación estaba abajo y la ventana daba a un mirador donde hay una luz en el techo encendida durante toda la noche.

Bed was too soft but that’s just my personal preference.

Beautiful setting overlooking the Swilly. Comfortable room. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast upstairs (extra charge). Check-in was easy.

The location and scenery draws you in and indeed the restaurant and the outdoor seating area is absolutely gorgeous. The view from our room was also good. The staff were exceptionally pleasant and friendly. Can’t fault them .
So many things . It’s disappointing as this place has so much potential. Bright lights come on around 11pm and stay on until the early hours lighting up bedrooms like it’s daylight. I raised the issue with my contact ( it’s self service, no reception) was promised it would be sorted and despite constant promises and apologies. Nothing was done. I can see it’s not only us that raised this on trip advisor. The bed was so so incredibly uncomfortable- thin mattress, cheap and lumpy- every time I moved the noise was ridiculous. Had the worst 3 nights sleep and no offer of money off by the way or even a complimentary drink.
The restaurant on the first evening - food was good- we enjoyed it although my husband’s salad was sloppy and soggy . It was the following night that was unacceptable - I ordered a steak medium rare - asking more on the rare side; it was well done plus I waited 45 mins and was told they had run out of chips! What?? Only fries. Sent it back- it returned still well done- is there a chef there at all???? A steak . No offer of even a complimentary drink or refund.
Then the next morning- after another bad nights sleep, we ordered breakfasts- after 10 mins the waitress came out to say they ran out of eggs!! Laughable but added to the absurdity completely- oh was asked if we wanted the breakfasts out tofu or separate- obviously only had eggs for one breakfast at that time as they were hard when they came out ( together). I’ve put disappointing as it is. It needs sorting out asap. Pity really .
Views were amazing and the room was clean. It had everything we needed. Great value for money especially with short notice booking. The room was a good size.
The bathroom smelled a little stale but nothing crazy.
