The quiet and beautiful simplicity
Could do with a bit more love and attention.
The stuff is super kind and lovely. It’s perfect to relax and and structure is really pleasing for your eyes.
Lovely and relaxed - peaceful - laid back - traditional rooms - full of character - felt like our own villa!
Nothing!
Loved the warm family run feel. Breakfast was lovely as was the greeting every morning. It had an authentic high quality feel and very home made breakfast which were delicious. The location was perfect for us with three taverns in walking distance.
Lack of air conditioning. As we stayed outside of peak season so it was manageable.
Excellent- clean clean clean, amazingly clean. Family friendly, pool was perfectly clean and the temp was amazing. We stayed here 5 days and could not have been happier. Excellent WiFi and amenities in room such as fridge. Wonderful breakfast.
Nothing bad to say at all.
Very beautiful place in Corfu, near taverns and impressive beaches. The location has a classic style, with the pool and the garden being very impressive. Loukia is very friendly and helpful and a great host.
One of the rooms is very hot, even in the night. There is no AC, just a fan on the ceiling in all rooms. The wi-fi connection is poor generally in the premises. The ceiling is wooden and if there are tourists living in the room above you, you can hear everything.
It was in a quiet village away from the crowds
Small, wonderful, family run hotel with peaceful grounds and a delightful pool in a quiet village in NW Corfu. The owner and staff did everything to make us and the other guests comfortable and welcome.
Sadly the restaurant and bar weren’t open for our late season holiday, though we enjoyed a delightful breakfast each morning on the terrace. There are several restaurants and bars within a short walk from the hotel which were open.
The general ambience
The room was very warm in the night
The villa is just stunning and we loved every moment of our stay there.
The pool and the yard are very well kept and the house is full of tiny charming details. The rooms are simple and elegant with old style furniture but in really good shape and equiped with everything you need. The breakfast was tasty and quite an elegant moment to start the day with. I especially liked the local dried plants for tea and the homemade jams.
If you are not into charming old houses and look for ultra modern amenities this is not for you.
Light sleepers must come with ear plugs because the street is really close and sometimes the traffic is loud (because of the ATVs and scooters all the tourists seem to love these days).
Villa de Loulia with Lukia as the owner is a beautiful, very cosy space to relax. Lukia has put a lot of love and effort to make it a beautiful place. You feel very welcomed, she is very eager to make it a nice stay. We wanted to change rooms, and it was no problem!
Somewhat we felt it was a bit overpriced, especially the breakfast with 18€ p.P. It is a decent breakfast, however for us a bit too expensive.
The set up is nice and relaxing.
Lovely place with very friendly and helpful staff.
Nice and clean pool in the garden.
No aircon, but quite ok anyway because it is a stone house.
For our trip the location was great, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the cats are very cute, the breakfast is great and the pool very nice.
Unfortunately, in our room we could hear most of what is going on in the rooms surrounding us, so for some nights it was rather loud and at the same time you don't feel comfortable talking in a normal voice thinking others can hear everything. The bed was also very squeaky and a bit uncomfortable.
A beautiful old villa with a wonderful kind host Loukia. Enjoyed the pretty pool, garden and incredible breakfasts of Greek homemade specialties. Stunning coast and sea swims nearby.
