Séjour magique !
Pros:

Séjour de rêve ! Le cadre est magnifique et la chambre parfaite et confortable! L’atmosphère est magique, et authentique, on est proche des pêcheurs locaux! Le restaurant est super, les cocktails incroyables et le petit-déjeuner servis directement dans la chambre est délicieux! Le personnel est très sympathique et aux petits soins! Vraiment une magnifique manière de finir notre tour du Cambodge ! On a adoré nager dans la mer directement depuis la chambre et observer la faune marine ! Bref un séjour de rêve à Koh Rong !

Ein Traum! Ich habe die Unterkunft für nächstes Jahr wieder gebucht.

Pros:

Prachtige suite met zéér veel smaak ingericht. Zeer ruim! Alles voor handen en vooral een prachtig zicht bij ontwaken. De foto's zijn realistisch en spreken voor zich. De ideale afsluiter van een drukke reis.

Het ontbijt is overheerlijk en absolute top!!

Verder kunnen we enkel vaststellen dat de (Nederlandse) uitbaatster veel belang hecht aan het integreren van de Cambodjaanse cultuur en zelf ook de plaatselijke mensen meeneemt in het verhaal rond het gehele Palm Beach resort. Dit is wat ons betreft een mooie manier van wederzijds respect tussen de belangen en de waarden. Mooi!

Cons:

De vissers-enclave waarop de suite gelegen is, is voor ons best charmant, tussenin de locale werkzaamheden Al moet je wel de bedrijvigheid (bootverkeer, achtergrondmuziek) in al zijn aspecten erbij nemen.

Pros:

Imagine the sound of the water surrounding you, the light touch of the wind, the moon high in the sky and its reflection on the water, imagine swimming amongst the stars... Imagine the blue of the sky, the turquoise of the sea and the fluffy white clouds... Imagine a bed suspended above the sea, rocking slowly... We came to relax, and we couldn't have wished for a more perfect place to do so.
The breakfast was great, the food was amazing, the people were kind and helpful. I hope we'll be back soon!

Cons:

Everything was great! I think the only thing we missed was a fan in the dining area, but it might be due to the refurbishing.
We were there during the cool season. I wonder if it would get too hot during certain periods of the year.

Fantastische Aussicht im Paradies
Pros:

Die Lage direkt über dem Meer mit Blick auf die Bucht sind wirklich atemberaubend. Das Essen und die Drinks, die man am hoteleigenen Strand zu sich nehmen kann, waren sehr lecker. Großen Dank an Alan, der die leckersten Cocos Shakes macht. Wir hatten den ganzen Strand für uns allein. Das Paradies lässt grüßen.

Cons:

Man muss damit leben können, dass die dort lebenden Fischer in unmittelbarer Nähe sind und jeden Tag mit ihren sehr lauten Booten zum Fischen rausfahren. Außerdem muss man über einen Steg an den Häusern vorbei, um zum Bungalow zu kommen, grundsätzlich stellt das aber kein Problem dar.

Cadre idyllique avec comme voisin l'océan.
Pros:

Petite bicoque au bout d'un ponton, avec comme seul voisin la mer et l'horizon. Certes ce décors à un prix, mais si vous voyagez comme nous pour votre lune miel, vous vous en souviendrez toute votre vie.

Le logement et la vue depuis le logement

Cons:

L’accueil qui a été inexistant.
La proximité avec les pêcheurs qui nous empêchait de dormir (l’odeur quand nous rejoignons notre chambre et le bruit des bateaux).

Un petit paradis sur l’eau
Pros:

Un lieu incroyable !! La chambre est très belle, bien équipée, literie très confortable. Nous avons adoré prendre le petit déjeuner directement apporté au logement. Une bulle de détente, nous avons été très dépaysés et avons choisi de rester une nuit de plus. Un endroit vraiment magnifique qu’on ne peut que recommander. Nous avons aussi bien apprécié de dîner dans l’établissement mère : le Palm Beach Bungalow Resort, terrasse très agréable et personnel gentil

Superbe endroit
Pros:

Un logement vraiment magnifique, les pieds dans l'eau (attention uniquement à la marée haute! quand elle est basse comme les matins, le logement est entouré de sable! donc pas de plouf matinal!)

Cons:

A noter (même si en soi cela n'a en rien dérangé notre séjour) : le logement n'est pas isolé comme il semble l'être sur les photos : il s'agit de la dernière petite maison d'un regroupement de plusieurs autres (4 en total je crois, habitées par les pêcheurs)

Comfort, charm and an exotic sense of place.
Pros:

…everything; it was our perfect stay. But we especially enjoyed the village atmosphere: boozing with fisherman on a rainy day while waiting for the seafood hand-selected from the boat’s catch the night before, to be prepared for our enjoyment. Don’t miss the cornershop’s steamed pumpkin cake!

Cons:

From a Western perspective, you might find that the Cambodian experience generally, feels a bit different — sometimes in ways that catch you off guard. Things don’t always work the way you might expect, and that can be disappointing if you're holding them up to a ‘Western’ standard. But they can also be the things that add to the country’s charm.

There was something uniquely Cambodian about the whole Palm Beach experience — a rawness, warmth, and authenticity that I haven’t found elsewhere. And if you can let go of the idea that everything should run like it does back home, you’ll find so, so much to enjoy.

Salacia’s Suite captures that balance wonderfully. It’s welcoming, comfortable and friendly without pretending to offer the polish of a resort. It’s not about five-star perfection — it’s about character, atmosphere, and making you feel like you’re part of the place.

Whether you’re into exploring local culture or just want a relaxing spot to unwind, Salacia’s Suite has something for just about everyone. Just come with an open mind and a bit of curiosity, and you’ll likely leave with some unforgettable memories.

The most amazing accommodation we have stayed at!
Pros:

The most amazing place we have ever stayed at! The accommodation was so much better than the pictures shows! We stayed two nights but we could easily have stayed a few more nights.

The room is located away from the property which is both good and bad. Good because of the privacy and very nice view. Bad because we lived door to door with locals, who were sweet but listened to high music from time to time and also sang a lot of karaoke. Nothing that the hotel can change but did make an impact on the stay.

The food was great and with reasonable prices. They also helped with renting a scooter. Great restaurant and bar facilities.

I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family!

Cons:

We were informed that we could easily order to get the food delivered, but we needed to go to the restaurant to make the order. It was not possible to order for both lunch and dinner at the same time since it was not “possible in the system”. Not the biggest issue but a bit inconvenient. It could easily be fixed with a what’s app number to text to. (They had another unknown app but it did not work to download when we tried). When ordering in the bar, it was also a bit of chaotic and felt like a lot of new staff (only one specific knew how to take breakfast order and payments).

Also when asking for refill of the complimentary water for second night, the receptionist said it was only when cleaning. I said they did not need to spend time on cleaning, we only needed the water. But “no, only when cleaning”. So I said “okey, then clean” and they sent three people to clean - which was totally unnecessary. So the service level could have been better.

Exceptional
Pros:

The location itself was very beautiful it goes directly to the beach. It has this floating bed which I really like cause I can relax, watching the waves of the ocean and the sunset while listening to my favorite song to their Bluetooth speaker.

Cons:

I ordered English breakfast but they give me different meal. The waiter did not allowed us to eat in the room I mean what’s the use of those many tables in the room if we cannot use it?

Amazing spot. Worth the price
Pros:

They have this floating bed which was a really good idea because you can relax there while watching the waves and the sunset. You can play your favorite song or you can make a party at night with your friends and loved ones using their big Bluetooth speaker. I would love to go back and spend more time there.”
