Pros:

Unser Gastgeber Malith hat uns sehr freundlich mit einer Tasse Tee empfangen. Er war während unseres Aufenthaltes (2 Nächte) sehr hilfsbereit. Wir haben eine Tour zu nahegelegenen Teeplantagen und Wasserfällen unternommen und der Tuk-Tuk-Fahrer bzw. Guide von Loris Manor hat uns die besten Plätze gezeigt. Das Zimmer war sehr schön, mit hohen Decken, und sauber. Es gibt eine Abkürzung ins Zentrum. Das zugehörige Restaurant Themparadu ist ebenfalls zu empfehlen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Top door het enthousiasme van Malith!
Pros:

Malith maakte het verschil. Dankzij hem komt het cijfer uit op een 8. Zonder hem zou ik een 6 geven. Malith, bedankt voor jouw goede zorgen!

Cons:

De kamer is donker en kan wat opgeknapt worden. B. v. deurknop naar de doucheruimte en de muren. Matras was hard.

Gemütliche Unterkunft
Pros:

Eine besonders zentrale Unterkunft, mit kleinem Geheimweg, der einen in 3 Minuten in die Stadt kommen lässt. Der Inhaber war super freundlich!
Das Zimmer hat alles was man braucht (außer einen Fön, da es abends und nachts kalt wird). Die Bettdecke war warm genug.
Das Haus ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber das Zimmer war schön eingerichtet.
Preis Leistung ist super.

Good place to stay

Nice room
Pros:

Nice spacious room. The toilet and shower had a bad smell and was not so clean, no hot water at night. It was a nice and quiet sleep.

Cons:

It would help if the staff clean the table where you eat breakfast. The breakfast was not so good. It was a problem to pay as they do not accept card and dont have any change for cash.

Sehr gute Lage und ein toller Gastgeber
Pros:

Sehr engagierter Gastgeber, der uns sehr gut versorgt hat, als wir krank waren. Er hat uns sogar einen heilenden Gewürztee zubereitet. Vielen Dank nochmals hierfür. Besonders gut hat uns das Zimmer mit Blick in den Blumengarten gefallen. Auch die Lage ist sehr gut: Ganz ruhig und man ist schnell im Zentrum. Im dazugehörigen Lokal haben wir zudem sehr gut gegessen.

Amazing host, brilliant location with clean room
Pros:

Malith was the most welcoming host we’ve had in all of Sri Lanka. He really made us feel welcome. The room was very clean and we loved staying there.

Abbiamo passato 2 notti fantastiche io e il mio compagno in questa guest house!
Letti comodi, stanza pulita, ambiente molto accogliente stile Inglese!

Sopratutto ricorderemo l'accoglienza fantastica di Mr Malik e Mr Chandy!

Mr Malik ci ha risposto subito appena arrivati con il bus (cosa non scontata nelle guest house in Sri lanka), non ci ha fatto mancare nulla, super disponibile, simpatico e ci ha fatto portare in struttura da Mr Chandy anche mentre pioveva!

Mr Chandy, driver molto esperto e simpatico, vi consigliamo vivamente di fare il tour con lui, conosce veramente bene la zona e sa consigliarvi il meglio! Ci siamo divertiti un sacco!

Vi consiglio anche di andare nel loro locale "Themparadu"! Un locale molto particolare, con buona musica, tanta scelta di cibi sri lankesi in versione fusion e varietà di bevande, birra e cocktail.

Il capo purtroppo abbiamo avuto modo di conoscerlo giusto l'ultima sera prima di partire a chiusura del locale, ma è davvero una persona in gamba! Staff simpatico, ci siamo divertiti molto! Se torneremo in Sri Lanka sicuramente passeremo di nuovo a Nuwara Elia per salutarli e fare almeno una serata nel loro locale

Unica nota migliorabile: le luci della stanza sono un po’ troppo soffuse e il getto d’acqua della doccia un po’ debole

Cozy room
Pros:

It was such a lovely room. The floors are wooden and the decoration is done well. Even the lighting is on point which made us want to stay in the room in the evening. That was a nice break after travelling through Sri Lanka for two weeks. The owner also owns the hippest restaurant in town which meant we got a 20% discount as guests of loris manor. They even came to pick us up by tuk tuk for free in the pouring rain. Would recommend!

The bathroom could be cleaner.

Nice Service
Pros:

The personal was very nice. He maked me the breakfast before the time because i haved to take a train. The was very Big.

Cons:

The location IS not the best, and when you come back to the hotel and It is dark, there aren't almost light on the street. It was a little scary.
