La ubicación es buena, las instalaciones en general están bien y el personal fue amable durante nuestra estancia. La última noche nos reubicaron a otra habitación, que era muchísimo más amplia y cómoda que la anterior y tenía unas vistas muy bonitas.
También agradecemos que el hotel reaccionara ante el problema que tuvimos con la habitación y nos ofreciera una alternativa.
Hay varios aspectos importantes que deberían mejorar.
La música de la terraza comienza bastante temprano debido al servicio de desayunos y puede resultar molesta para las habitaciones cercanas; lo mismo ocurre por la noche.
Tuvimos además la mala fortuna de encontrar cucarachas en el baño de la planta baja. Durante varios días vimos personal fumigando, por lo que nos dio la impresión de que no se trataba de una incidencia completamente puntual. Aunque nos reubicaron la última noche en una habitación mucho mejor, también percibimos cierto olor a humedad.
Los cócteles del bar nos parecieron caros para la calidad ofrecida. Una promoción tipo happy hour o 2x1 mejoraría bastante la relación calidad-precio.
El aspecto más negativo, sin embargo, fue la gestión de las excursiones contratadas a través del hotel. Nos sorprendió que estos servicios solo pudieran pagarse en efectivo, lo que nos generó dudas sobre la formalización del servicio y qué tipo de cobertura teníamos durante las excursiones.
Especialmente decepcionante fue la excursión a Michoacán. La persona que nos acompañó ejerció básicamente de conductor y apenas proporcionó explicaciones o información sobre los lugares visitados, pese a tratarse de una excursión privada, nada económica. Al finalizar incluso solicitó propina, aunque consideramos que el servicio había dejado bastante que desear.
Lo más preocupante fue que durante nuestra visita existía una situación de seguridad que afectaba a la zona y se produjo un narcobloqueo en la carretera hacia Quiroga. Según supimos posteriormente, quienes gestionaban el tour tenían conocimiento de la situación, pero nosotros no fuimos informados previamente ni se nos dio la posibilidad de valorar el riesgo antes de continuar. Consideramos que, tratándose de una excursión gestionada a través del hotel, la seguridad y la información al cliente deberían ser prioritarias.
En general todo excelente , la habitación súper limpia cómoda , vistas increíbles , realmente recomendaría el lugar !

The hotel has an excellent location and beautiful views of Guanajuato. We also enjoyed the bar and food, which were among the highlights of our stay. The property itself has a lot of character and potential, and its location makes it very convenient for exploring the city.
While there were several positive aspects, the overall experience did not match our expectations. The staff could benefit from greater professionalization. Upon arrival, there was little guidance regarding the hotel’s amenities and services, which made the experience feel somewhat disorganized.
The room also needed greater attention to maintenance and housekeeping. The TV was not working, there was noticeable dust and some areas that did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned, the blackout curtains did not close completely, and the lighting in certain areas of the suite was insufficient. These may seem like individual details, but together they significantly affect the experience expected from a property in this category.
Beautiful property. Great location. Fantastic staff. Lovely welcome when we arrived and good service throughout our stay. The heated pool and rooftop bar were a real highlight and the onsite bakery did amazing pastries.
No kettle. There was a coffee machine but no way to make a cup of tea in the room. Only a problem if a tea drinker😀 and certainly did not spoil our stay.

Parking might be challenging if you don’t know you eat
This hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of the city. The rooms are beautiful and the bathroom was huge. Plus, the shower was fantastic. From its size to the water pressure. The hotel staff were excellent. They were extremely helpful with check in as well as assistance to set up a couple of activities with trusted organizers in the city. The pool deck was amazing with a wonderful view of the city. The terrace restaurant was fantastic during our included breakfast. There wasn't much to choose from with the included meal; however, you could still order additional / different items if you choose to. But the quality of the food, fruit, pastries, coffee and fresh juices were top notch.
My only "complaint" would be that the coffee shop at the entrance closed at 2:30p. A late afternoon espresso would have been great after all the walking in the city. But honestly, there wasn't anything negative that we experienced.
