Environment
The floor dirty
The room is clean and the staff is friendly.
If you come with old parents you should avoid this place due to its high steps. However, you can request to be placed in a lower room.
Great view from the hostel bar and spacious private room
The walls between the rooms were quite thin and you could hear neighbours through them.
Relatively quiet at night
Lots of steps which was difficult with backpacks. Staff also seemed like they weren’t happy working there.
- Beds were very comfortable!
- AC only on during certain hours (same as most places) but was nice and cold at night.
- Nice breakfast.
The hostel makes it clear that there are lots of steps to get here and they’re really not that bad. You can ask for help to bring your luggage up if you need. If you are complaining about this then you need to read the info better :)
- There was sand everywhere around my bed and didn’t seem like the room was cleaned thoroughly. I’ve stayed in lots of places on the beach that don’t have this issue.
- The dorms have en suite but the bin is small and wasn’t emptied while we were there. If you can’t flush the toilet paper the bin should be changed every day.
- Some of the staff weren’t that friendly, so it didn’t feel that welcoming.
- The restaurant area was a bit grotty - the menus were sticky and covered in crumbs, same with the tables.
I loved the staff, the bar on the top and the location itself.
It’s just the stairs, but I mean they wrote it in the description and you should know. So if you have a luggage, bad idea. There are A LOT of stairs, but after a couple of days you get used to it
