For me the location was perfect, away from the hustle of the city but close to cafes, restaurants, and bars.

Good base for a visit to Kandy
Pros:

Good location, easy to walk everywhere in Kandy! Lovely decor in the rooms, spacious and comfortable.

Cons:

The pool was very cold and not very welcoming so we barely used it. It gets quite loud in the mornings with road and school noise, but I suspect this is normal for anywhere in Kandy!

A comfortable, family-friendly stay with great views, excellent food and genuinely attentive service
Pros:

We booked a top-floor apartment with two bedrooms just for our family, and it felt like a real treat. The private balcony was the highlight — beautiful views over the city and lake, especially early in the morning and late at night.

The location is spot on, right in the centre and easy to walk to nearby attractions and restaurants. That said, we ended up dining at the hotel’s own restaurant most of the time — it was that good. The food presentation is world-class, and everything we tried was genuinely delicious. The kids loved it, so we found ourselves going back for both lunch and dinner.

Breakfast was also excellent, with a buffet offering a mix of Sri Lankan and European options. Plenty of choices, all fresh and well-prepared.

WiFi was fast, and the beds and air conditioning were very comfortable.

The staff were professional, friendly, and clearly well trained — always happy to help.

Highly recommend this little gem.

Pros:

Das Zimmer bot viel Platz und Ablagemöglichkeiten. Das Bad war verhältnismässig klein. Das Frühstück war gut. Sri Lanka Variante musste am Vorabend bestellt werden. Ansonsten ziemlich gut für Spaziergänge an den See oder ins Zentrum gelegen.

Pros:

Leider nichts, wir sind wieder ausgezogen.

Cons:

Hotel ist komplett veraltet und die Bilder entsprechen nicht im geringsten der Wirklichkeit.
Das Standartzimmer war im Keller, muffiger Geruch, Bettwäsche nicht sauber und Haare auf dem Kissen. Wir haben sofort storniert, Geld zurück bekommen und haben das Hotel gewechselt.
Uns wurde dann sogar zum gleichen Preis die Suite angeboten, war aber leider genauso. Der Blick über Kandy wäre fantastisch gewesen! Schade

Great hotel over all just avoid the room service food.
Pros:

Everything was above my expectations given the price. Location, breakfast, room, staff all brilliant.

Cons:

Room service food wasn’t great and the pizza was stone cold on arrival. The pool was also broken/filthy.

OK, but not worth the price
Pros:

The room was beautifully designed—modern, very clean, and well-equipped with everything you might need, even small details like toothbrushes and shower essentials. The beds were huge and extremely comfortable, and we slept really well. The room was also very spacious, with an additional loft area featuring two mattresses for children.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional, which we really appreciated.

Cons:

However, there were a few downsides. The loft area is separated only by a wooden structure and is not soundproof at all, so you can hear everything from the hallway and vice versa. Noise from the street was also noticeable at night, although this might be common in Kandy.

The other disappointment was the food. The calamari we had for dinner was overcooked and rubbery, and the breakfast was not what we would expect from a four-star hotel.

Overall, a very nice and well-equipped room, but improvements in sound insulation and the kitchen would make a big difference.

Pros:

The hotel is very conveniently located. From the hotel, you're within walking distance of the major sights and attractions in Kandy. We had a room on the lakeside and though we didn't exactly get a great view, there was no road noise. The rooms are clean and very spacious, and the breakfast changes daily. Staff is very friendly.

Cons:

The room was huge, but the bathroom was small in comparison.

Très bon emplacement
Pros:

L’emplacement est idéal, la chambre familiale est très bien malgré le bruit de la circulation. Le personnel est très gentil !
Possibilité de faire des machines.

Cons:

Il y’a une cuisine avec des poêles mais pas d’assiettes, de couverts, de spatules… compliqué de se faire à manger.
La piscine est une grande partie à l’ombre et qu’au soleil dans l apres midi.
Le petit déjeuner est correct mais pour le prix il pourrait être davantage fournis.
