Sweet hotel near, but not at, the water
Pros:

Lovely staff and a sweet vibe to the place. The bedrooms are nothing special and there was no real sitting area in my room. But there are extensive public spaces and a beautiful, modern pool with lots of lounging space.

A 10 minute walk down the hill will get you to two nice restaurants. Make sure you turn right, not left. Also more restaurants if you turn left, but then you will have to get a taxi to come back, unless you are an athlete.

A good, full breakfast with some wonderful home-made breads.

Cons:

The hotel would not be suitable if you have difficulties with stairs. There is an elevator, but it does not cover the majority of the rooms or spaces. So if you have limited mobility, this is not the place to go.

If you want to go downtown, you will have to get a taxi. These are plentiful and nice, but each trip costs 10 euros, which is rather a lot for a 7-minute ride.

Pros:

Hotel met het beste uitzicht van heel Patmos! Het personeel is super vriendelijk, ik werd heel warm onthaald. de kamers zijn netjes en dit jaar hebben ze ook vernieuwde ramen, airco en een lift.

Pros:

The hotel is exceptionally clean and the workers very helpful throughout our stay. They helped us organise taxis to take us around and breakfast was just very good and exactly what we were looking for. If you want to stay at Patmos I recommend this place as top and safe place to stay.

In Grikos with short walk to beach, fantastic views from rooms.

Golden Sun Sanctuary
Pros:

This was a beautiful little slice of heaven, and the quaint picturesque hotel was right out of a painting 🖼

Cons:

Little far from town, and we rode bikes up and down hills. It was great anyway. We should have rented a car.
