Delightful opportunity to escape time and to cherish living well
Pros:

My top three:
1. Meals including the prix fixe dinner and breakfast were outstanding and served with great hospitality.
2. The colors and textures in the room! Like being in a 17th C Dutch masterpiece painting come to life.
3. Being only 20 minutes by car from Amsterdam, yet feeling like we had time traveled to another era in this historical monument building and quaint village along quiet waters and green fields.

Cons:

I wish I had more time at the hotel so I could have enjoyed a coffee or an aperitif on the dock.

Elegant hotel in a uniquely beautiful location

Cons:

Dinner service was extremely slow and staff coordination seemed incoherent. Also, they made it feel like a big deal when we requested to check out at 12. I really didn't appreciate the rigid behavior

SECRET SURPRISE
Pros:

Staff is incredible friendly, personable and accommodating. Their restaurant was one of the best meals I've ever had! The design of the rooms was exceptional. Visited during the winter and woke up to magical snow the next morning. I can only imagine how wonderful summer time here can be! Will definitely return one day!
