Best value hotel in the heart of Darjeeling
Pros:

Location is great. Hotel is also great. Just that it overlooks the road and another hotel bang opposite the window.

Cons:

The hotel opposite blocks the window view. Hence you feel tat you're staying in the middle of a busy road.

Convenient location to major attractions and a comfortable stay
Pros:

Great location, very accessible to the major tourist attractions. Super courteous and helpful staff, especially Sital, Ayush and Puran. Would recommend for families with young kids.

Cons:

Very congested and badly planned rooms. The bathroom was planned very badly, no proper water drainage. The water from the shower area was making the entire bathroom floor wet. We stayed for three nights and inspite of informing the staff to change the bed linen the second day it was not done same dirty bed linen was placed. Bath linen was also provided after request and that too 1 towel in triple occupancy.

Ottimo Hotel a Darjeeling
Pros:

Posizione ottima per visitare Darjeeling, hotel pulito, personale disponibile e cortese pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta, letto comodo, buono anche il ristorante al suo interno. Colazione tipica locale molto buona.

Below advertised standards! Do not recommend!
Pros:

The location is pretty good! Shares a wall with Glenarys, and right next to Kenventers. But that is all the good.

Cons:

We paid around $100 per night (Rs.9000 approx per night). Surprisingly, I checked that the same day rates were $20-$30 per night! Pre-booking was a bad idea I guess. Booking.com should address this overpricing issue. What a difference in pricing! But they were nothing like the price they charged us. You would atleast expect clean linens, and sanitized bathrooms. The bathrooms flooded every time we took a shower. The water was either steaming hot or cold. The bathroom sink leaked and there was water every time we washed our hands. To top it off, the rooms were not well ventilated. We kept the window ajar at night but there was no circulation, a small fan would have solved this problem. The walls had molds! Only wonderfully behaved staff does not address these problems. They need to fix the property, a bare minimum approach will only go so far.
