2 nachten Ceylon Ayu Resort in Kandy
Pros:

Het hotel is buiten het drukke centrum van Kandy gelegen. Het is voorzien van een lift en heeft op de bovenste etage een mooi zwembad en een restaurant. De 2 kamers die we hadden geboekt waren enorm, er was zelfs een aparte keuken waar gekookt kon worden. We hebben twee nachten geslapen in het hotel en zeer tevreden over de netheid, personeel en de service van het hotel. De medewerkers zijn erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De gerechten die gemaakt worden door de chef (veel buitenland ervaring) waren superlekker. De prijs kwaliteit verhouding in het restaurant uitstekend

La struttura si trova un po' fuori dal centro di Candy in ottima posizione per raggiungere tutte le attrazioni principali. La camera è molto spaziosa con i letti comodi e puliti. La colazione è sempre uguale, ma nel complesso positiva è un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo

Some good bits but plenty to work on
Pros:

Staff were friendly. Rooms were big with kitchens but a bit dark. Food was fine but we had to order in advance for anything other than breakfast.. Good views from rooftop.

It is definitely not a resort. The layout is odd - reception difficult to find on first floor, front garden under used as right be the road and nothing else on ground floor bar a car park - created a bad first impression - if we hadn’t booked in advance we might have moved elsewhere. Only shared space upstairs on roof where there is a small pool, five sunbeds without cushions and a mouldy sun umbrella. Not a very appealing place to relax. There were hardly any hooks in the room for drying towels etc We felt the hotel had potential - it would take relatively little money to spruce it up but would make a big difference- particularly the roof top area. Nothing really walkable from the hotel, including restaurants (except one hotel). We had to chase up the complimentary massage (which is a 10 min walk away). No real opportunity to do yoga there.

Geweldig.
Pros:

Dit hotel heeft mooie, grote kamers en is erg schoon. Het dakterras met zwembad, waar zich ook het restaurant bevindt, geeft een prachtig uitzicht en de mensen die er werken zijn enorm vriendelijk.

Lo que más nos gustó fue la piscina y el personal que fue muy atento y agradable. Las habitaciones son enormes y nos tocó una especie de apartamento que tenía cocina y salón.

Pros:

Beste bedden van heel Sri Lanka! Mooie ruimte en prachtig restaurant en zwembad

Cons:

Ze prijzen yoga en massage aan maar kon dit niet goed vinden en personeel overdag ook niet.

Clean, welcoming and spacious.
Pros:

The rooms were very big. We are a family of 4, we got two adjoining apartments. The staff was very kind and helpful, the pool on the roof was nice and everything very clean.

Ok stay for 1 night but so far our least favourite during our trip
Pros:

Friendly staff and very large and comfortable accommodation

Cons:

Food was very average and the coconut oil they used tasted off and made some of the food inedible. Not sure if it was just slightly old oil. We didn’t have any ill effects from it but it just spoiled the meals.

Also A/c was very loud and not working properly

Pros:

Abbiamo soggiornato con i nostri figli di 12 e 8 anni due notti in questo grazioso hotel situato a 15 minuti d'auto o tuk tuk dal centro della città, una piccola oasi di pace. La camera era molto spaziosa, il letto matrimoniale molto comodo e grande, due letti singoli, un salotto accogliente, una zona cucina e un bagno grande con doccia e vasca. La vista era meravigliosa dalla piscina sul tetto dove viene servita anche una gustosa colazione e la cena di cui però non abbiamo usufruito perché essendo a inizio stagione avevano pochissime scelte.. solo pasta e poco altro... Eravamo anche arrivati tardi la sera e non avevamo avvisato del ritardo.
Tutto il  personale è stato molto cordiale e servizievole. Grazie per la vostra ospitalità.

Non mi è piaciuto aver dovuto saldare il conto all'arrivo prima di vedere la camera anche se poi ci è piaciuta
