The best in the Giza and Cairo
Near for pyramids
Nice hotel and good room and the rooftop restaurant is amazing with pyramids view and very good food
Let me begin with a very simple fact:
This is not a hotel.
This is a rotting trap, packaged with stock images, fake promises, and a complete absence of shame.
We booked two rooms with pyramids view.
Not a maybe-view. Not a blink-and-you-might-see-it-through-rubble view.
A clearly advertised, paid-for pyramids view.
What did we get?
• A filthy room facing an abandoned, crumbling structure, with a barely visible triangle of stone in the background
• The second room? Quietly and fraudulently cancelled after check-in, without consent, as if we wouldn’t notice
• And when we asked for what we paid for, we were told we could “upgrade” — yes, upgrade to our original booking — for €15 more per night
This was not a misunderstanding. It was a well-rehearsed scam, and we were just the next victims.
Inside the room:
• Exposed electrical wiring, taped together and left hanging like decorations — a blatant fire and electrocution hazard
• The air smelled of mold, sweat, and neglect
• The fridge was rotting from the inside out, with visible rust and a stench I will never forget
• The bed linens looked used, the furniture was cracked, and the floor had layers of dirt built over what felt like years
• Dust and stains on the walls, mysterious substances on the curtains — the kind of things that make you want to shower after checking out
This isn’t about being picky. This is about basic hygiene and human safety.
And then… we had the misfortune of speaking to the “manager” — Ahmed.
Ahmed is not a manager.
He is the embodiment of cowardice in a button-up shirt.
Unwilling to take responsibility. Unwilling to listen. Unwilling to show even the smallest sign of professionalism.
We requested a fair refund — two nights we were absolutely not staying. He refused.
Cold. Robotic. Arrogant. He offered one night, and acted like he was doing us a personal favor.
The man runs a health risk disguised as a business and has the nerve to deny refunds.

The traditional breakfast was 5 stars. Plus, the room was very clean and if it was needed something the staff bring straight way. Thank you lovely shahy for our lovely smile.
The hotel was perfect, breakfast and room were brilliant, shahy was a fantastic host and couldn’t be more helpful, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody who is thinking of going to Cairo!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at HUT Pyramids Hotel and I must say, the experience was truly outstanding. From the moment I arrived, the hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure a seamless and memorable stay.
The front desk team was warm and welcoming, handling check-in efficiently while offering helpful recommendations for local attractions.
A special mention goes to Maha, Mohammed, Gat and Bilal for their exceptional hospitality. Their attention to detail, kindness, and willingness to assist made all the difference. Whether it was arranging transportation, making dining reservations, or simply greeting guests with a genuine smile, they truly exemplified top-tier service. The level of professionalism and dedication displayed by the entire team is what sets this hotel apart. When in Giza I highly recommend HUT Pyramids Hotel to anyone seeking not just a place to stay, but a warm and welcoming experience. I will certainly be returning!

And the location is wonderful... You are literally 10 minutes of walking distance away from the pyramids... You can see the pyramids while eating breakfast on the rooftop...
I definitly liked the service from the staff and personel of the hotel. They adviced and helped me how to manouver a little bit in the big city of Cairo.
Also the food was well prepared and tasted very nice!

Just a tip: The room i was in, was very noisy because of the sound of outside. Maybe you could look at it, like the windows.
