Edgar made us feel so comfortable, everyone was welcoming and we ended up staying a couple of extra nights instead of he
Pros:

Clean, central and convenient
Kitchen facilities were clean
We opted for the included breakfast and Edgar was up every morning to accommodate us.
Upstairs terrace was clean and airy, I spent most mornings up there using the communal yoga mats or reading before anyone else got up.
We were on a kitesurfing trip and it seemed as though most people at Isla Vela were kitesurfers so it was fairly quiet in the evenings. The wind doesn’t blow in the mornings so it’s a great time to work, work out or just relax.

Cons:

If you have mobility issues the stairs will definitely be an issue but we had no problems

Pros:

Location was good; was very affordable, next to beach, restaurants, ATM, and all kind of attractions; though no breakfast was provided but - we were told to buy food and cook yourself- that what we did. Unfortunately, we could not communicate much with a person at the door due to lack of Spanish language on our site- but when I asked to change smelly pillow we were able to understand each other. It looked like that they were still in process of renovations- holes here and there, light was just hanging on two wires on the wall... we spend a month in the country- were staying in all kind of hotels-so, this one could not spoil our good vibe about our vacation.

A basic hotel with a good location.
Pros:

A very basic accommodation which suited the area. Rooms were very hot as there was no air con, but the owners provided fans which was great and adequate.
A short walk to the Main Street for restaurants and shops, but far enough away for no noise.
Owners were very nice to deal with.

Cons:

Hardly any hot water for showers at the end of the day, especially in a hot sweaty climate.

Pros:

Very friendly staff, kitchen for use was convenient, nice rooftop terrace. Groceries next door. Bikes for rent. Bit remote so more quiet during night.

Cons:

Bit of stains on bedsheet and towels, lot of ants in the ground floor room. Not every room has a closet to put your clothes in. Some rooms have only a window on the courtyard, which is less fresh air and bit noisy from other guests.
