Personalen jättetrevlig, rummet man kan inte klaga,rent och fräscht det samma med badrummet. Trivdes jättebra dem två dagar vistelse.

Pros:

Förmodligen ett 60-tals hotell med 60-70 rum som hade sina fornstora dagar som magnet med danspalats och restaurang. Idag rätt öde, restaurangen stängd, begränsade öppentider i receptionen men centralt, bekvämt och med en servicevilja. Jag kom sent och ägaren drog igång ugnen och värmde en fryspizza till mig.

Cons:

Den begränsade servicen ställde till det. När jag skulle checka ut fanns det ingen personal.

Breakfast was OK. Hotel is the only one in Emmaboda, within walking distance of the train station, pizza restaurants and supermarkets

Cons:

Hotel is too big now for the amount if business it has, looks tired. Facilities are OK but not worth the money.

Cons:

The whole place needs a revamp, the breakfast was terrible. Cold sandwiches prepared the night before and put in a fridge for me to pick up the next morning. For the price I paid, I would expect a lot more, much more. The place is a veritable disaster.

Pros:

not much. the staff were friendly and down to earth. it was mostly clean ( no rats or roaches at least!). short walk from the station and a very good supermarket. the bed was comfy.

if you like stuffed animals...it has some!

Cons:

the room was cold. the bathroom smelt bad. the "pool" was an empty concrete tank and the sauna derelict. the bar and restaurant side of the hotel was locked up when not serving food. there was nowhere to get even a cup of coffee ( kettle in the room, but no cups ...or coffee)

the WiFi was non existent except in the hotel lobby.

I had been warned that it would be " an experience". A very strange place and I only stayed there as I had to for work .. may try further afield if I have to work in Emmaboda again.
