Ein kurzer Wandersufenthalt, gute Lage!
Kurflair…
Dinner at the restaurant
They need more choices
Nothing
The front office manager was rude.
The breakfast was bad, half of the wellness was not operating.
Well, this is a rehabilitation facility, not a hotel per se. The overwhelming majority of guests are sent there by their Austrian health care providers for rehabilitation. This would have been really nice to know in advance.
The rooms were clean though and the beds comfortable.
My colleagues arrived early and described the hotel as a hospital. I did not completely share their view, but yes, it was a rehabilitation center. Two of the three rooms we booked smelled badly, the third room was okay but it was impossible to open the balcony door/windows because there was quite a strong sewage smell outside. One room had problems with warm water. Also, I've booked a double room but got a single room.
Breakfast was good, but guest were dressed in training clothes and bathrobes and there was no selection for coffee.
We tried the restaurant once, but it was just open between 17.00-19.00, had just two choices of meals and unfortunately they tasted poorly.
Between the sauna area and the pool there was a hall way to most of the rooms. We didn't feel like swimming while people are going to their rooms - not very relaxing - plus, being a rehabilitation facility this was not tempting anyways.
The staff was nice. Reception should have opened 08.00, but actually opened quite some time later. The receptionist - while friendly - was unable to see anything regarding my stay in the system which made check out difficult.
The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Stuff was friendly.
This is a rehabilitation facility which reminded us of a hospital. Very smelly rooms and sewage smell outside - impossible to open the windows. Pool had insight from the hallway to most of the rooms. Restaurant had just two options and the food can not be recommended - bad opening hours.
