It was a short stay, but I had a good experience with Taichung Intercontinental
Pros:

I love the breakfast selection. excellent!

Cons:

I had to call front office to get toothbrush set was unexpected, thought it would be included in the room amenities.

因為對高雄的洲際有超好的印象，所以誤以為台中的洲際應該也有超不多的水準， 但是從一進入房間開始， 整整三天都是超級失望。設施不行， 服務也不行。收港幣5300+一晚的價格？！有點黑心。超級不推薦！

地理位置

Cons:

1. 性價比超級無敵低。
2. 門店的設施顯落後， 與洲際的定位不匹配。裝修和裝飾都顯得廉價。
3. 早餐過於簡單， 不像五星級酒店的出品，連高雄洲際的十分之一都趕不上。
4. 服務非常一般， 甚至可以謂之為粗陋， 沒有任何主動服務， 微笑服務的意識， 就算有些是有微笑的， 都是那種假笑。第一天早餐的時候，有客人拿著手機在餐廳到處拍攝， 絲毫不顧其他用餐者的隱私權， 餐廳也沒有人去勸誡。法棍居然是乾巴巴的，硬硬的；第三天早餐的時候，有個白西裝的中年男子（像是領班或經理級的樣子）非常的傲慢，因為落座的時候已經早上10點， 鄰近10:30的最後入座時間，我想點一個蛋白蛋， 他不耐煩的說那個要25分鐘。。。禮貌起見， 我改選了班尼迪克蛋，但是感覺很不好。而且這個男子的語氣及語調十分傲慢，經過我的時候，明明眼神相碰， 還故意將頭轉向地板，非常沒有水平，也不禮貌。整個餐廳只有一個戴眼鏡， 扎馬尾的高個子女生是值得讚許的。
5. 房間太普通， 配不上港幣5300+一晚的價格。窗簾，入口處的小桌子，咖啡機，音箱都有粗糙的廉價感。推拉式的衣櫃稍微用力感覺門都快掉下來。餐具沒有經過任何的挑選，不像高雄洲際那樣的有藝術感。明明說是2024年新開的酒店， 很多設施像是10年前的規格。
6. 化妝鏡前的區域很小， 也沒有可以坐的凳子。
7. 沒有室內泳池。
8. 酒店不像有很多人入住的感覺，也不見酒店方面有主動和我們UPGRADE
