La variedad de comida en el desayuno.
La zona en la que se encuentra el hotel.

One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had – avoid this place!

We booked this hotel expecting a relaxing stay, but it was a disappointment from start to finish. First, we were downgraded from the room we had actually reserved. On top of that, the payment system was a complete scam: the booking could only be made in US dollars, but then at check-in we were forced to pay in soles at a ridiculous exchange rate of 3.99. This meant we ended up paying way more than what the room should have cost.

And the final insult: the main reason we chose this hotel, even though it’s a bit outside the city, was the pool. We wanted a relaxing pool day, but when we got there we found out the pool was broken. No one told us in advance, and when we asked at reception for any kind of compensation, the only response we got was a dismissive “sorry for the inconvenience.”

Overall, this hotel feels dishonest, unprofessional, and totally unworthy of what they charge. Don’t waste your time or money here – there are plenty of better options.

La habitación es cómoda, acogedora y el personal en su mayoría es amable

Cons:

El desayuno “buffet” es solo para las primeras 5 personas que van, luego si se acaban todo, ya no reponen y tienes que comer lo que queda, la televisión solo cuenta con 6 canales nacionales y el agua de la ducha apenas entibia

No hay agua caliente, el dólar tiene un cambio 0.5 por encima del mercado, el desayuno es bufette pero no renuevan, piden pago adelantado y no dan comprobante de pago hasta un mes después, no tienen rampas ni ascensor, el cheking no tiene flexibilidad, etc

Pros:

Un hotel tranquilo, seguro, confortable y la mejor atención del personal, siempre muy dispuestos a ayudarnos, hicieron de nuestra estadía en Arequipa un descanso maravilloso. Pudimos ir caminando al centro histórico.

Pros:

Bed was goed, douche was prima. Veel stof op de kamers, geen schoonmaak ook al verbleven we 2 nachten. Ontbijt was karig en we moesten zelf om alles vragen. De persoon die in de nachtdienst werkte was erg onverzorgd en ongeïnteresseerd.

Cons:

Problemen met betaling. Lagere wisselkoers wordt gegeven dan op internet beschikbaar is. Ook betaal je 5% extra als je met kaart wilt betalen. Na een gesprek met baliemedewerker krijgen we de baas aan de telefoon. Via een bericht laat hij weten dat we de 5% niet hoeven te betalen en dat we de wisselkoers op internet mogen hebben. Alleen moet ik dan wel een 10 geven op booking.com. Als ik aangeef dat dit chantage is moet ik maar ineens geen review meer schrijven en krijg ik alles wat ik wil. Heel bijzonder!

Pros:

The chef’s breakfast every morning was a delight. I have a lot of dietary restrictions and they made sure I could eat. They were very accommodating and helped us with transportation to and from the airport.
