I wish the rating had zero star. I booked a single room with shared bathroom on booking.com. While I was driving to Santa Ana, I got a call from Zen Home that they do not have that room available even I had paid for it. Zen Home offered me a larger room at no additional cost in another property. I accepted. When I arrived to the new property, the property manager gave me the smallest room at the property without any window as it is shown in the pictures with lots of graffitis on the wall similar to solitary confinement cell. The weed smell was all around the property even it states no smoking room in booking.com. Anyway, I locked my room door and slept that night. However, around 3:00 AM a man opened my room door and told me that he is looking for the property manager to get his $100 damage deposit that he had paid to book the same room. I kicked him out and told him that I have no clue what he is talking about. Next day I complained about it and the property manager just shook his head and blamed the guy. I told the property manager that I do not feel safe; I will sleep in my car and use the bathroom as needed. I had not checked out. Next morning, I took my cloths to go to my room to change but when I opened my room door, another guy was sleeping in the bed that I had paid for it!! That was most horrible stay in my vacations in my life.
cheap and the other guests.
MANAGER AND assistant accused me of stealing. I have never stolen from anyone where I reside ever. I don't understand the e way I was treated. He made stiff up to get rid of me. very strange. so be wary

I’m from Russia and traveling through different cities, staying in hostels from this company. I like this style of travel because it helps me meet new people and experience different cultures.
Every time I stay in one of these houses, I meet interesting people and have good conversations. The staff here were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was comfortable.
I’m visiting different locations and leaving honest reviews about each place I stay. So far, I’ve had a very good experience.
The only
Person that was kind of helpfull was the man who ran the first house who helped us get directions and checked in for our stay at a diffrent location.
The drug users loud in the next room, the house was cold during the night bed was on the floor the bed was rock hard. The hostel house manager couldn't speak english. The house manager sniffed a towel and handed it to us, I am sure it was not clean.
People in and out of the house late. We ended up just leaving it was in a scary location. The bathroom was falling apart. One dusty fan in the room no blankets. The floor was dirty. The manager aloud people in using cash and no ID, so much for the saftey of others in the home. It took one of the other guest going to get the house manager before she would even acknowledge us at the door, we waited 15 minutes, knocking at the door before I open the door, which was unlocked asking if anybody knew where we were supposed to check in and who we were supposed to talk to It seemed like a one night come down off drugs hotel than a comfortable safe place to sleep while passing through next time I will just pay the extra 20$ for holiday inn.
