Pros:

Poloha a čistota.

Cons:

Dveře od wc nejdou zavřít. K snídani pouze studený bufet. Neshoduje se s fotkami.

V pokoji bylo čisto, postel pohodlná.

Cons:

Na pokoj vůbec nedosáhla wi-fi, která měla být k dispozici. Také by se hodila na pokoji lampička a dostupná zásuvka na nabití mobilního telefonu.

Hotel should be delisted from the site
Pros:

Good support from booking.com, since they helped me get a refund.

Cons:

Reserved a room 6 months in advance, received a text message 2 days prior to the check-in that the reservation had been cancelled since there were no rooms available.

The hotel promised a refund and gave different timelines for returning the money, but they never actually paid anything back. Eventually, they completely stopped responding to messages and probably blocked my phone number. If this had not been escalated to booking.com, I believe that they would have just kept the payment.

They did not offer to provide alternative accommodation or cover any additional costs (i.e. the cost of staying at a real hotel), which is what they are supposed to do as per booking.com's overbooking policy.

I strongly recommend this hotel if you want to book a room months in advance, have the hotel cancel your reservation 1-2 days before you are supposed to check in, and then risk not receiving your money back.

Lokalita, velikost pokoje

Cons:

Nebyli jsme v Hotelu City, ale dali nás do Hotelu Bílá růže. Z venku vypadá příšerně. Dokonce chybí H u nápisu hotel. Vestibul vypadá dobře. Výtah je v hrozném stavu. Jednou jsme se v něm málem zasekli. Je v něm cedulka, s nějakou obnovovací frenvencí, která naštěstí funguje. Pokoj byl až na pár pavučin ok, ale nebylo v něm dostatečně teplo. V koupelně není topení vůbec a voda tekla většinu času pouze vlažná.

We were sold a room which was not available and transferred to another hotel, which was run down and deserted.
Pros:

We were moved to an entirely different hotel from the one advertised, this was round the corner on another street. When we complained about the proposed arrangement we were told that we were welcome not to stay and the room could easily be let to someone else. By then we’d already paid via Booking.

Cons:

It was scruffy, modern building on several floors and completely deserted - carpets worn and bedding dirty, though sheets themselves clean. The pillows smelled terrible. Bedside light propped on old TV bracket on wall. Echoing corridors and huge, empty lobby, vast bar area, all of which was well past its former, marble glory.
