Excellent design!
Pool did not seem very clean
Our room was a great size with plenty of space for unpacking what we needed and storing our suitcases. We had a family room with bunk beds (the phrase doesn't really do it justice - essentially two queen/king size beds stacked on top of each other) and the kids loved that. Everything felt very modern and the bathroom was massive.
The swimming pool is a decent size and we were happy to let the kids splash around for a couple of hours each day to cool off.
Location-wise this was a great base for exploring the local night markets, temples and taking day trips. It's also right next to a number of small cafes / coffee shops, and as a result we didn't opt to have breakfast in the hotel and decided to explore instead. Shout out to the coffee at STAY & STI.L around the corner.
Like many hotels in Thailand were were each provided with a bottle of water every day, which is a nice touch.
A real nit-pick, but could have done with a towel holder next to the basin.

Lovely place, the room and pool are clean. Bed was comfortable and staff were very friendly and helpful.
Love the location is walkable to the local market and there are good bar, restaurants, coffee around

The rooms are huge, real rustic style. Easy walk to most places.
The pool is shared with another backpackers and they allow people to come pay a fee to use the pool.
Very little flexibility with early check in, I asked prior and was told I can check in early if room is ready then when I arrived was strongly informed that check in is 2pm. Not the place to stay if you want to get into your room early.

A great wee complex with vintage shops, nice restaurants and lots to see and explore in the vicinity. Chiang Mai has so many little gems of areas like this - and the pool area is great. Plenty sunbathing and dipping to be had, perfect to sweat off the previous night's beer and cocktail fest at the local Soi Dog (jazzy) blues bar! 😄
