Pros:

Location about as central as it gets, friendly and helpful staff, room was modern and well maintained. Breakfast is served at a restaurant located right next to the hotel. Easy taxi access with pickup point 20m from the hotel.

Cons:

First night we were given a strange room which has only one window which is on the ceiling and it was slightly open with no way of closing it. That means you get introduced to the maltese custom of ringing the cathedral bell every 15 minutes throughout the night very intimately. Quite impossible to sleep that way, fortunately we were transferred to another room the next day and the issue was sorted. Also, breakfast is a la carte and 90% of the menu involves eggs which can be aa problem if you are not an egg enthusiast.

Pros:

Chambre spacieuse et très propre. Personnel très sympathique. La situation est idéale pour la visite du centre et des restaurants.

Cons:

Le fait que après avoir demandé qu'on remette du savon dans la douche et cela n'a pas été fait.
Le système de déjeuner à la carte et non pas un buffet.
Le restaurant au décor un peu simpliste et mon risotto trop liquide.

Downtown.Biggest advantage AND disadvantage

Cons:

Breakfast.NOT from menu please.I know there is lack of space but buffet is much more appreciated.
there are no fresh fruit ! (in a mediterranian island) ,only 'fruit salad'
in fact ,you can order only sliced bread from pastry.
Only 1 lift, for visitors and personel!

Nous nous sommes sentis très bien dans cet hôtel
Pros:

J'ai aimé le confort et les chambres spacieuses, le fait que l’hôtel soit doté d'un restaurant, sa situation géographique : proche du centre et des transports urbains et ferry

Cons:

Le bruit la nuit (mais en étant en centre ville proche des restaurants et bars, c'est inévitable)

Pros:

Lage top, Frühstück überschaubar, aber gut! Personal freundlich!

Cons:

Zimmer sehr dunkel und hellhörig! Brauchte Ohrstöpsel zum Schlafen! Ohne künstliches Licht kann man im Zimmer 101 (Erdgeschoß) nichts sehen oder lesen! Zimmer für da Gebotene viel zu teuer!

Wonderful stay in Valletta
Pros:

We booked a family room that had a loft for our daughter to sleep (pull-out sofa bed). The room was spacious and comfortable. It's the first time in a while that we all slept well away from home! The location in Valletta was excellent--a short walk to everything we wanted to do. The breakfast was à la carte and included in our booking reservations, and it was very good! I would stay at the Cumberland anytime we happen to be back through Valletta.

Cons:

The only issue we had was that the TV in the loft randomly turned on, including once in the night. We informed the staff, and we had no further issues.

While not an issue for us, this location (and Valletta in general) would be challenging for those with mobility issues, unless getting a room on the first floor. There were a few stairs we had to navigate, even when using the elevator to our floor. The city is full of hills, steps, and sidewalks that require careful attention when navigating.

Nagyon kedvesek voltak!
Pros:

Jó helyen van. A szoba (delux) tágas kényelmes volt. A csomagokat már a szállás elfoglalása előtt és a kijelentkezés után is elhelyezhettük a portán biztonságban.

Cons:

A reggeli nem svédasztalos volt, menüről lehetett választani ami kissé egysíkú volt.
