在锡瓦最完美的旅途是住在了老爷爷家，他是一名船长，一个人管理着民宿，人非常的好，在这里的吃住行都会给你很好的安排，价格是非常的合理。不管是早上的第一顿早餐，还是去沙漠里看星星和晚餐，都是非常棒的体验！我们在这里连续住了三晚，在第四天回程的时候，老爷爷甚至说让我们免费住一晚，非常的感动。在这里拍照真的非常的好看，随手都能拍大片。（老爷爷还有2栋民宿，但是在我们来的前两天着火了，纯木质结构的房屋，里面有很多老物件和手工制作品，一直给我们看之前的照片，我们担心他会难过，他让我们别担心，生活一切都会好起来的。）
The most perfect trip in Siwa is to live in Grandpa's house. He is a captain and manages the homestay by himself. He is very nice. The food, accommodation and transportation here will give you good arrangements, and the price is very reasonable. Whether it's the first breakfast in the morning or going to the desert to see the stars and dinner, it's a great experience! We stayed here for three nights in a row. On the fourth day of the return, Grandpa even said that we could stay for one night for free, which was very touching. It's really beautiful to take photos here, and you can take blockbusters at will. ( Grandpa still has two homestays, but it caught fire two days before we came. The house was made of pure wood, with many old objects and handmade goods. He kept showing us the previous photos. We were worried that he would be sad. He told us not to worry. Everything will be fine in life.)

环境很好，院子特别漂亮，很多树，然后整体风格很协调。在锡瓦算是设施比较好的了，每天早饭也挺丰盛，老板很友好，还会记得你爱喝茶还是牛奶。

环境很美，老板是一个非常热心的老板，会担心我们被人骗帮我们据理力争虽然只是个美丽的误会。早餐超级棒！

一開始與飯店主人聯絡時，感受非常良好，飯店主人極盡所能的協助安排行程與給予建議跟幫助。抵達時，飯店主人是一個老爺爺，也是好的不可思議。
入住時，因為我們提前抵達+原定房間延遲退房，所以說給我們升級到了一個獨棟的Paloma wooden房內，該棟僅我們一房入住，我們自己有提前買好行程，房東還協助了溝通。

Nayer var den bästa värden med ett oroligt välkomnande. Han väntade fast vi anlände sent och fixade utsökt middag. Frukosten var också jättegod!Boendet är nära till staden och huset är så vackert, man kände sig verkligen som hemma. Han var mycket hjälpsam och ordnade med bokade turer för bra pris, han ville att man skulle få bästa upplevelsen av Siwa. En av de trevligaste personerna vi mött, tack för en god vistelse. Rekommenderas starkt!

Super friendly host, captain!! The food is amazing and all staff are very friendly. Captain gives the best advice of where to go and experience the best of Siwa.

The host captain Nayer is genuine person interested to give the best possible experience to the boarders. The egyptian food is exceptional, homely, delicious and healthy with local treats! Great ambience, would visit again!

1.食物非常美味，早餐时光太惬意了。我还跟船长学会了埃及沙拉的酱汁调配，跟那位很亲和的厨师女士学习了其他埃及菜肴的做法。
2.原本我预定的是带公共卫生间的房间，船长升级为带独立卫生间的房间，还带暖气，在寒冷的夜晚，这个很暖和、舒适。
3. 我还参观了正在建设的奢华房型，作为设计师，我不得不说得到了很多设计灵感。
4.船长会建议行程，安排好司机。锡瓦的路坑坑洼洼，司机Adel开的突突车很平稳，这点太重要了，因为锡瓦有些司机开车不会考虑这个，肺都要颠出来了。

房间干净，环境优美，满屏的棕榈树，浓厚的锡瓦风情，非常漂亮。老板和员工人都很好，回应及时，早餐丰富。

对比几家网红酒店，这家庄园在各方面都优异太多。首先，地理位置绝佳，步行到市中心五分钟内。其次庄园面积很大，有很多漂亮的椰枣树。我们预定的房间独享了二层的空间，至少60平方，有一个非常漂亮的露台，房东老爷爷和蔼可亲，和我们一起早餐，并帮忙预定了早上的沙漠越野，度过了愉快的两天。

De gastvrijheid van de eigenaren Neihir en Raghi was geweldig. Ze gaven veel persoonlijke aandacht en boden uitstekende service. Ook tourmedewerker Kola was fantastisch – een hele vriendelijke en behulpzame man die de ervaring in Siwa naar een nog hoger niveau wist te tillen.

房东人超级nice！会帮我们找靠谱的司机和向导（去撒哈拉沙漠拍照篝火吃烤鸡，和锡瓦盐湖飘浮；早餐会问我们想吃什么，早餐很丰盛和美味😋我们离开前晚饭选择留在房东家用餐，价格超级实惠，朋友和我都很喜欢。锡瓦的人真的是一座热情善良又淳朴，有机会到埃及真的不要错过锡瓦。

Paloma Lodge truly is a sanctuary—a place where you can relax, feel at home, and reconnect with yourself. This wasn’t my first time in Siwa, nor my first time staying at Paloma, but this time I chose the guesthouse, and it was just as magical as I remembered.

The house is beautifully built, with high ceilings and natural materials—when I lay in bed and look up at the wooden palm beams, I feel completely at peace. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, and even the shared bathroom is large, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The shower has great water pressure and everything works perfectly.

One of my favorite parts of the property is the lush palm garden. It’s huge and full of shady spots to sit, relax, and enjoy the calm atmosphere. It’s a true oasis within the oasis.

The breakfast deserves a special mention—it’s abundant, fresh, and tailored to your needs. I’m vegan, and I was amazed by the variety and deliciousness of the options. It’s all included in the price, and the value for money is excellent.

But what really makes this place so special is the host, Captain Nayer. He’s warm-hearted, kind, and genuinely cares about every guest. He goes out of his way to make you feel safe, welcomed, and supported, whether it’s helping you organize tours, recommending great tuk-tuk drivers, or simply being a great conversation partner. He’s also very open-minded and inspiring—I feel truly grateful to have met him.

Another great thing: the location. While the lodge is peaceful and quiet, it’s only a 5-minute walk from the center of Siwa. I originally booked a shorter stay but ended up extending, like many others do. And I’m sure this won’t be my last time here either.

If you’re coming to Siwa and looking for a beautiful, calm, and heartwarming place to stay, I can wholeheartedly recommend Paloma Lodge. It really is a feel-good oasis in every sense.

The bed was great! The room was comfortable and had all I needed while still being a charming Siwa house. The room stayed cool even when it was too hot outside. The host is amazing! I almost fell in love with him…but it was too short a visit, sigh. Captain Nayer helped organize several trips with a reliable and affordable tuktuk driver who was wonderful. Breakfasts were great and had many healthy choices served family style. The WiFi was adequate for my needs. If I come back to Siwa in the future, I will stay here. Siwa is an amazing place and so relaxing. It is worth a visit

The host is a kind hearted retired captain who is super welcoming, and makes an amazing breakfast!
The garden around the house is beautiful with huge palm trees and different fruit trees.
The house itself is tidy, clean and makes you want to explore everything in and around the house.
You can walk to the city center in a few minutes.

Simply everything

I was originally supposed to only stay one night at Paloma Lodge from 6 Nov to 7 Nov, but because I enjoyed my stay here so much, I decided to extend for 4 more nights, only checking out on 10 Nov instead. Paloma Lodge is very well located, with only about 5 mins’ walk away from Siwan town centre where all the restaurants, cafés and shops are located. Apart from that, it’s only a stone’s throw away from a fresh water spring, where it’s perfect for an early morning or mid-afternoon swim. The host, Captain Nair, is super kind, warm and hospitable! He made me feel very welcomed and because I was a solo female traveller, he would check on me when I’m out later in the evening. In fact, he invited me to dinners at the lodge with lovely meals, either prepared by the good Captain himself, or his lovely housekeeper, Safie! The lodge is very tastefully decorated and kept very clean. The one-room apartment that I stayed in was very cosy and was sufficiently equipped with kitchen appliances, such as; electric kettle, toaster oven and a fridge. I will definitely stay at Paloma Lodge again, when I come back to Siwa!! It was a very enjoyable and cosy homestay which felt like you are with family. A home away from home.
