Real value for money and excellent service
Pros:

Warm friendly staff; Reasonably priced meals. Staff went out of their way to see that we were comfortable.
Really very inviting place and beautiful place

Cons:

Nothing much really. We had dinner in an open space when the night was cold. They premises has great inside space for dining. They should rather serve inside on cold days

Pros:

Spacious clean room as advertized, set off a quiet street. Adam was super accommodating helping us to get transport at a time when there were desperate fuel shortages. Many thanks Adam. RECOMMEND!!

Adams lodge
Pros:

I felt safe, especially after I have had a theft from my room at Delight Lodge in Blantyre, which cost the employed, who did it 12 month in prisson.

Cons:

You could not buy a beer, but the owners son send sombody to buy two beersfor me. Softdrinks was limited to a kirsh Softdrink. Nice menucard, but the availability was limited. But what you could get was good. Breakfast good.

Pros:

The rate for accommodation is fair

The dishonesty of saying that it's located one minute away from the lake when I called the owner as well as lying to me about facilitating that I go to the lake

Very pleasant stay and helpful owner.
Pros:

Adam the owner is such a helpful person. He goes out of his way to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. He dropped me at a restaurant en he said I could call him to pick me up after I was finished eating. He gave me two bottles of mineral water for free. He even called me at my next destination to make sure I arrived safely. Absolutely wonderful!

The Best.
Pros:

As some of the other reviews already mentioned, Adam the owner was extremely nice person with full of hospitality, much more than I expected!

As soon as we met, he asked what I would need or want to try in the region, and took me to the local market and restaurant everyday for free. He even offered me a mosquito repellent without being asked.

The best part was, he helped me a lot so that I could cross the Mozambique boarder safely. Since I had heard lots of travelers had troubles crossing the boarder before, he called his acquaintance who was familiar with immigration, so as to make sure I would be safe (and it was successful)!

The hostel was sparky clean, nice location (there is a great cafe nearby), and breakfast was lovely too.

Definitely the best hostel and owner of Malawi.

Cons:

The wifi connection was not stable, so recommend to use your own SIM card.

Lovely staff. Good convenient location, very clean and well maintained, super wifi, great value.
Pros:

Great value, super comfortable accommodation with spacious well laid out rooms, well lit and I particularly liked the natural lighting. Good location for sights, stores, banks, transport & a lovely gem of a coffee shop selling great coffee close by. Despite proximity to everything it wasn't noisy but still felt vibrant. Very cheerful helpful staff who seemed to enjoy working there, making a relaxed a friendly atmosphere. Lodge is new and finishing touches are enhancing restaurant inside & outside areas. Secure parking. Well maintained gardens were a pleasure to see from my terrace. Fastest most reliable wifi I've experienced in Malawi & good tv reception. Kettle & fridge in room. Convenient power ports. Very clean. Super hot showers. I'd be happy to stay again.
