A True Nubian Experience

Our stay at the apartment in Kato Waidi Nubian Resort in Nubian Village was truly wonderful. The place was beautiful, peaceful, and full of character, offering a genuine feeling of the Nubian atmosphere. edificio muy bonito y colorido con vistas preciosas al nilo tanto desde la habitacion como desde el restaurante. muy tranquilo y se respira paz

solo se puede salir en barco, el del hotel cuesta 20 dolares, o reggateando con barcos parados puedes conseguir por unos 6, o en indrive/taxi pero da una cuelta grande para llegar a la ciudad. un poco alejado

Très bel hôtel avec vue magnifique.

Frites pour les enfants.
Très joli hôtel typique village Nubien.
Le poulet était excellent.
Comme le banane milk et le jus de mangue.

Cons:

Des chiens qui aboient au milieu de la nuit. Mais nous sommes en vacances, et pouvons nous reposer qd cela nous chante.
Un autre point négatif: notre driver n’a pas souhaité venir nous chercher à l’hôtel, car route de mauvaise qualité. Nous avons dû marcher à sa rencontre. Alors que bcp de voitures vont jusqu’à l’hôtel sans pb.

Property is colourful, but rooms are not maintained. Washrooms are too dirty. Our washroom had drainage issue and all the shit started throwing up from rhe drainer

Pros:

Absolument tout, le personnel ainsi que les habitant aux alentours sont géniaux. Il y a une grande avenue marchande qui est superbe juste à côté de l’hôtel. Vu sur le Nil, des très belles chambres, la nourriture est aussi très bonnes. Je recommande !

Pros:

Our stay at Kato Waidi was the highlight of our trip to Aswan. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us like family. They were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us comfortable.

We were pleasantly surprised when they upgraded our room to a Nile view for free, and waking up to that scenery was absolutely breathtaking. They also allowed us a late checkout, which made our departure so much more relaxed.

The breakfast was amazing—fresh, authentic, and plenty of variety. Special thanks to the team for helping us arrange our transport; they worked within our specific budget to ensure we got where we needed to go without any stress. Highly recommend this gem!

Great location and beautiful people
Pros:

We spent 2 nights in Kato Waidi which is perfectly located on the Nile next to the touristic boat dock. Also, in the middle of nubia touristic souq (bazar).
People were very friendly and helpful. Will visit again.
