I booked this hotel through booking.com on our next day trip to Machu Picchu in Aguas Caliente for 3 nights. The hotel cancelled my reservation on the day of our arrival and message me that our room was no longer available and requested to cancel the reservation.

Cons:

My booking was confirmed and the hotel cancelled my booking on day of arrival. After I cancelled, I checked on another hotel and their hotel and same room is showing that it is available.

Pick up from the station. Decent breakfast. Comfortable bed. Bar fridge service. Excellent and convenient location close to the station, restaurants and bus stop for Machu Picchu. Friendly and helpful staff.

Atendimento e atenção dos funcionários, funcionário sempre prestativo, nos serviu um excelente café com muito carinho no horário que precisávamos. Localizacao excelente, banho e quarto impecável

Cancelación a último momento y sin asistencia

Con total falta de consideración hacia el huésped, cancelaron mi reserva el día anterior a mi llegada. Ese tipo de situaciones no deberían ocurrir, especialmente cuando uno ya está en pleno viaje y organiza su itinerario contando con la confirmación de la reserva.

A raíz de eso tuve que buscar y reservar otro hotel de urgencia la noche anterior a mi llegada a Aguas Calientes, lo que generó una preocupación y un estrés completamente innecesarios.

Lo que más me llamó la atención fue que, además de cancelar la reserva con tan poca anticipación, ni siquiera me ofrecieron alguna alternativa ni me sugirieron otro hotel en la ciudad para ayudar a resolver la situación.

Después de muchos años reservando hoteles a través de Booking, esta fue la primera vez que me tocó vivir una experiencia así, y sinceramente fue muy decepcionante.

Luego de la cancelación solicité que fuera sin costo y, al menos, no me realizaron ningún cobro. Por un momento llegué a pensar que además de la cancelación también me cobrarían, pero afortunadamente no fue así.

Мне очень понравилась эта гостиница. Номер был с видом на реку. Отличный завтрак. Молодой человек мне носил сумки. Девушка на ресепшене даже предложила донести сумки до вокзала, чем меня очень удивила в хорошем смысле. В Агуас Калиентес- это отличный вариант.

Cons:

Мне всё понравилось. Гостиница на свои деньги и больше. Всё было супер за что персоналу отдельное спасибо!

Die Unterkunft ist sauber und wird aktuell renoviert. Daher kann es unter Umständen etwas lauter sein. Ich konnte noch bis zur Abfahrt meines Zuges am Nachmittag mein Zimmer nutzen.

Cons:

Die Kommunikation ist für Gäste, die kein Spanisch sprechen, schwierig. Mein Frühstück to go wurde vergessen, bzw. das Personal hat verschlafen. Sie haben es mir dann aber in die Schlange beim Bus hinterher gebracht.

Good last minute booking
Pros:

Well located, close to the bus ticket office. The ladies are very nice and they really help a lot. They also helped us in getting our luggage from the train station and also taking us to the centro cultura to get our machu picchu tickets.

Cons:

Ventilation issues in the room. It would get very damp and humid in the room. I also think its too expensive for the services offered.
