Potential to be great but management needs an overhaul
Pros:

The location is beautiful, next to a river, lovely public spaces and swimming pools, perfect to relax if they are playing decent music - the experience could be even better if they played better or more relaxing music not dance music all day long at both pools.

Cons:

I can't believe for a 'boutique' hotel there was no hot water! They should call themselves an eco hotel then - felt very cheated by this and not good for kids after a long day out. The rules concerning pets are not clear, they are not supposed to be in the eating area or swimming area but there were dogs everywhere even inside the pool! The room for the price should have been more comfortable it felt very squashed and there was only AC not a fan. Also the food prices are too high, you do not get value for money. The breakfast was pretty mediocre to what I had expected from a 'boutique hotel', very basic buffet options and the cheapest kinds of cereals and bread. The eggs were nice but there was no fresh juice.
