Perfect midrange hotel with wonderful people
Pros:

Excellent, comfortable hotel; one of the best we have stayed in Jordan. The location is good, near the center of Madaba, with easy parking. Better yet, the rooms are just right: roomy enough to be able to comfortably move around, furnishings that do everything we need them to (good place to put luggage, excellent shower with laundry line, comfortable bed with bedside lights and outlets, nice towels, hair dryer, chair and table). Very clean and nice. Breakfast was a very good Jordanian spread, and the staff and owner were so helpful with everything, answering all of our questions and giving good recommendations. Great place, excellent value; highly recommend.

Cons:

Nothing—it was great. Even though it was quite empty (because of the war with Iran), they went out of their way to welcome us and make sure we had everything we needed. We hope that travelers come back soon!

Een geweldige plek om in Madaba te verblijven.
Pros:

Alles was top: kamer incl. badkamer, het bed, het ontbijt, het diner op de zondagavond. En het personeel heel attent, vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De ligging tov het centrum: uitstekend. Goede privé-parkeerplek. Een absolute aanrader!

Parfait comme pied à terre à proximité de l'aéroport et pour visiter le nord de la Jordanie.
Pros:

Gentillesse du personnel qui nous a fourni de très bons conseils et ont pris en compte nos demandes de modification de la réservation.. Très bonne literie. Parking et proximité des sites touristiques.

The perfect place to stay in Madaba!
Pros:

Everything was perfect! The communication before our arriving was fast and easy. We arrived after midnight and they were waiting for us!
The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with big variety of choices!
The location is in a short walkable distance to the sightseeing spots. The staff was very helpful and kind! Would definitely recommend it, and my family would come back here for sure!

Peaceful and recovery stay
Pros:

This hotel gave the vibe of peacefulness. Enjoyed the company of cat during my breakfast :)

Cons:

Kettle was not clean in the room but once I notified the reception they immediately brought a clean one.
Bathroom could add some ventilation.

A fantastic place with exceptional people.
Pros:

Black Iris is a unique hotel: very comfortable, with very helpful and hospitable staff, located right in the center of town. I absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the beauty of Madaba in all its splendor.
