Right on the front and great value
Pros:

Right in the front and room had a fantastic sea view. Stayed in a suite that was massive. And old hotel with high ceilings so the overall experience is a light and airy room. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom had large corner bath with hand held shower. Breakfast was very good and waitress served Dinner was excellent. All staff are friendly and accommodating

Cons:

Bear in mind it's an old hotel and no lift so 2 flights of stairs to the first set of rooms. I am ok with that but might be an issue for anyone who poor mobility

Disappointing, been many times, never like this!
Pros:

. Breakfast was beautifully cooked. Our waitress was brilliant, thanks.Receptionist was very helpful, when the bedroom doors would not lock .

Cons:

The lounge, where we had a drink and ate was cold . Most people had their coats on ! One member of our party had no heating in his room, & the breakfast room was very cold. Please can someone put some heating on ! Nobody asked if we had enjoyed our stay?

Lovely stay in a wonderful hotel.
Pros:

Loved the seafront location. Historic and attractive building. Friendly and warm staff. Very clean. Good food. Comfy beds. Great to have both shower and bath.

Cons:

Disability aids such as handles around the bath. Reception bell was not immediately obvious.

Lovely place, lovely people!
Pros:

Beautiful seaside location, good sized room with comfortable bed that I didn't want to get out of! Staff were welcoming and helpful, ordering me a taxi when I was leaving.

Cons:

The room was a little noisy - I may have been above the bar and no lifts.

We were in Hartlepool to find a home. We both enjoyed walking by the beach. It’s a lovely city.
Pros:

Great old seaside hotel. Loved the architecture. It was nice and quiet.

Perfect hotel to spend a night,,,, comfortable, with good food available and friendly, polite staff.
Pros:

Staff were very friendly and polite. Room was comfortable, although shower head was broken, not a big issue. Breakfast was perfect for my needs.

I'll continue to stay here for as long as I'm able when on work trips.
Pros:

I always enjoy my stay at The Marine, the staff are friendly, the view - even though it's for work I try and make most of the location and treat it like a mini holiday.

Cons:

Nothing, all was fab.

Not great,
Cons:

Power outage for most of the night. Not the staffs fault however when asked about power returning staff were more interested in serving bar locals for cash rather than room guests getting a decent sleep

Nice, friendly
Pros:

Some rooms are a bit tired but clean and functional. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food is very good, large portions if you like that sort of thing.

Cons:

Family room only had a single bath and toilet upstairs in the spare room fitted with a hand held shower only. Still functional and clean
