Nothing more and good value for money

The location seems good, but it is a menace. There are 24/7 PSAs from the bust stand just on the other side of the adjacent street. Not just the announcements, but also police-like wailing sirens between them. Spending the night at this place seemed like staying in Guantanamo prison, where one is tormented with constant automated voice.
Besides that there’s a rooster in the yard, that wakes up at 3am. And dogs wailing and barking. By the way I needed to get to the train station from the hotel at some 3:30am, and the street at that time was full of aggressive dogs. Some of them were following me and I had to find a stick to fend them off in case any got too close.
The place has no WiFi and the mobile network signal there is rather weak. For the price charged I’d expect a WiFi at the very least. The person doing the check-in was very dry, not a “welcome” or any other kind word, just literally: “passport… visa… pay…”. I’ve stayed at much nicer and cheaper places and at least the hosts were very welcoming.
The room I booked was supposed to have a mountain (Arunachala) view - it did not.
The sink in the bathroom was so filthy I was reluctant to use it.

I don't know which place the other people are talking about but my mother had a much less than average experience here. The location and the house weren't as comfortable as claimed. The owner charged 8200 Rs for two nights (I got another place for 8 days for the same price during the same time before she moved here for the last two days of her trip). The amount that was initially shown on the site per day was much lesser which is why I booked it.

On the last day the host/owner also conveniently asked her to leave the place at 11:30 am for a 1:45 bus and she reached by 12 just waiting at the bus stop for almost 2hrs. And the auto which took her there charged a whopping 500 Rs for a half n hr ride to the mummy daddy mall bypass location.

Will never ever make the mistake of recommending this place to anyone. For over charging, the facilities and quality of service have to atleast match the price. Well that was far from the case.

Some noise from the bus stand but not a big issue. Just until 22 or 23 pm, don’t remember.
