It is a very comfortable traditional siheyuan with a nicely decorated terrace. When the weather is good, you can sit outside the terrace & enjoy the breeze and relax after a day of touring the city.
The staff made you feel welcomed & attentive to your needs. It is located within a hutong district. The road is narrow but it is still feasible for cars to drive through especially if you take a taxi or Didi. Some drivers may not like it. It is walking distance to subway, Beixinqiao. About 10 mins walk. It takes you practically anywhere easily. And the Guijie foodstreet & Lama Temple is also great place for dining. Breakfast is not too bad in selection considering that they don’t have a dine in restaurant. Rooms are not very big but you don’t need a huge space if you are here for leisure. They have family room which is nice. Overall, a fanstastic stay for me.

The hotel shows different name on Google map, Booking.com and in front of the hotel. It may be confusing but the location is correct - Xintaicang Hutong. I love everything about this hotel. The location is great. Walk outside to Guijie street, we can find loads of 24hr delicious food. The hotel is beautiful, new and clean, with nice decorations. The beds are comfortable. Staffs are very nice and helpful. They do not speak English at all but translation app is advance enough.
The only downside is the Hutong looks a little messy and dark when we arrive during late night, but it’s safe. It’s just the way of Hutong life.
Excellent location in a traditional hutong, just 15-20 mins walk from Dongzhimen metro station (which is on the Capital Airport Express trainline and from which some Great Wall tours leave) and 5-10 min walk from Beixinqiao metro station. If you use the Apple Maps app it is not difficult to find. The hotel location is just off Guijie St, which has plenty of eateries. Walking distance from Lama temple. Room was very small but clean and had everything we needed. Shower was really nice. Staff very helpful and friendly. We were able to leave our luggage in storage after check-out and picked it up later in the afternoon for our evening flight.

I had trouble finding the hotel at night and the staff was nice enough to meet me at a coffee shop nearby. Lovely people and once I found the hotel it was an amazing location. I would stay here again
