What didn't I like? Hmm, let's see:

1. This is not a hotel, just four suites. There is no reception, and no on-site staff. The remote staff tries to communicate via WhatsApp, but they often do not respond to messages. And when asked why they didn't respond, they act surprised by the fact that I expected a response. I have no clue what would happen if we needed some help in the middle of the night.

2. Since there is no on-site staff, there is nobody to help with the luggage. And even when someone came by to give us the key or pick up the key, they never offered help with the luggage. They were content letting us carry our luggage ourselves.

3. The walk to the beach is long and treacherous.

4. There is a shortcut to the beach directly from the suite. However, to use that shortcut you have to:
(i) jump into the private pool;
(ii) climb three steps that are in the water;
(iii) with your wet slippery feet, jump from the top step (still inside the private pool) over the slanted ledge at the edge of the pool, over a small moat (for the overflowing water), and onto a marble path. And of course marble is very slippery, especially when your feet have just come out from the pool seconds ago. I have included photos of this crazy setup below.

This is simply a recipe for disaster. We did not attempt this acrobatic feat, because we didn't want to have an accident. But there's bound to be an accident eventually, and then the property will be in hot water with a lawsuit. Why? Because not only do they provide this crazy setup, but they actually encourage their guests to do this crazy maneuver!

What makes this even more insane is that there is a simple fix for this: Just add a wide plank that goes from the platform of the private pool over the edge and the moat all the way to the marble path. The guests can pull the plan in when they don't need it, and they can put it in place when they want to go to the beach.

Ικανοποιητικό πρωϊνό που ερχόταν στο δωμάτιο. Σε καμία περίπτωση δεν είχε την ποικιλία ενός κανονικού πρωϊνού.
Πρόβλημα η παντελής έλλειψη κάποιου χώρου στο κατάλυμα για να παραγγείλει κανείς έναν καφέ.
Στο site φαινόταν και βίλες που δεν ανήκαν στο ξενοδοχείο. Έτσι δεν ήταν απόλυτα κατανοητό ποιο ήταν ακριβώς το κατάλυμα (η ωραία παραλία δεν ήταν στο κατάλυμα).

Cost

Das Frühstück ist leider durchgehend gleich, wir konnten es die letzten 3 Tage nicht mehr sehen und haben es abbestellt. Es war sehr lecker, aber man sehnt sich dann nach Abwechslung und die bekommt man leider nicht, wir hätten nachgefragt.
Ab 14 Uhr hat man auf der Terrasse eigentlich keinen Sonnenplatz mehr und ab 15 Uhr ist die Sonne dort komplett weg und man hat nur noch Schatten. Leider auch bei den Liegen am Meer, weil man diese Betten seitlich nicht öffnen kann. Also ab 14 Uhr muss man mit dem Handtuch im Sand liegen.
Leider ist am letzten Tag eine Großfamilie in die Villa nebenan gezogen (gehört nicht dazu!) und ab dann war es mit der Ruhe vorbei. Also Adults Only stimmt bei den vier Appartements, jedoch nicht bei den direkt angrenzenden Villen. Auch Hunde sind dort erlaubt und die waren richtig unangenehm laut.
In Palairos ist eigentlich nichts los, sprich für Bars, Shopping und Nachtleben muss man schon 40 Minuten fahren. Aber das wussten wir vorher.

We had a wasp nest at our place and had to wait a day to get it fixed (we got moved to another room). From the apartment, the beach is only accessible through the pool.
