The location and staff
It would be nice to take more care about the resort area
I like the place, especially the hot water swimming pool.
The owners were very friendly and nice. The room was clean and comfortable. Lots of seating around the pool and on the terrasse to relax on. The view from the terrasse was nice (green plants in the middle of the canyon). The sound of running water was relaxing. The warm water was the perfect temperature to swim in in the evening.
The hotel was taken over by the new owners 6 months ago and is still being renovated. It will be very nice when it is finished. It must be noted though that the bridge over the river to access the hotel does not exist any more. We had to walk over a narrow unsturdy wooden plank to get accross the river to the hotel. This would be impossible for the elderly, people with mobility problems, anyone with baggage other than a backpack, and unadventurous people. There were also some construction materiels (bricks, cables etc) around.
Not all the swimming pools were filled. This was ok for us though as we were the only guests. The swimming pool was not 100% clean.
There was no hot water in the shower in our room.
