4 giorni immersi nella natura!
Pros:

Sergio e Lucrezia sono stati ospitali e accoglienti, attenti a tutte le nostre necessità. Personale fantastico e struttura immersa nella natura, con una piccola spiaggia e molo privati che permettono la massima riservatezza.

Cons:

Per qualche ora al giorno (verso pranzo) si sente la musica alta della spiaggia di fronte, ma non è nulla di imputabile all’hotel. Il punto dove affaccia la spiaggia è in un punto della baia in cui sono presenti alghe, quindi ad un primo sguardo l’acqua non è cristallino come Rosario, ma al mattino è calma e pulita per un ottimo bagno.

Маленький тропический рай с почти семейной атмосферой
Pros:

Камерный отель всего на пять номеров, скорее семейный лодж. Его главные достоинства — уединённость, отличное соотношение цены и качества и почти персональное отношение к гостям.
Территория небольшая, но очень зелёная, красивая и исключительно ухоженная. Видно, насколько тщательно за ней следят: однажды мы встали около шести утра встречать рассвет и уже увидели Серхио, который убирал территорию и пляж.
Есть свой небольшой пляж и деревянный пирс с лежаками и удобным спуском в очень тёплое Карибское море. Лучше всего купаться утром, примерно до 11 часов, пока вода спокойная. Есть два бесплатных каяка. Обязательно хотя бы раз встретьте рассвет на пирсе — солнце очень красиво поднимается из-за острова, а всё место невероятно фотогенично.
В центре территории небольшой бассейн с прохладной водой, лежаками, зонтиками и баром. Коктейль могут принести прямо к лежаку. Есть настольный теннис и дартс.
Номера простые, но комфортные. Нет телевизора и горячей воды, о чём Booking предупреждает заранее, но в здешней жаре прохладный душ нам даже нравился. Wi-Fi слабый и иногда пропадает — получается настоящий цифровой детокс. 😊 Комары есть, но обычного репеллента и противомоскитной сетки над кроватью нам вполне хватало.
Отдельная благодарность персоналу. Лукреция и Серхио окружили нас практически семейной заботой, любые просьбы выполнялись сразу. Очень доброжелателен и хозяин отеля. Рекомендую заказать через них трансфер из аэропорта: на дорогах Бару внедорожник совсем не лишний.
Завтрак включён: омлет, тосты, кофе или чай и свежие тропические фрукты. На обед и ужин есть рыба, морепродукты, мясные и вегетарианские блюда. Особенно понравилась свежая жареная рыба.
Отель расположен уединённо, рядом практически ничего нет — сюда стоит ехать именно за спокойным отдыхом, морем и природой.
Обязательно берите SPF 50+: солнце здесь очень активное, даже под зонтом на пирсе можно быстро обгореть.
Нам Playa Scondida очень понравилась. Красивое, камерное и душевное место с прекрасным отношением.

Cons:

Главный минус для тех, кто рассчитывает на абсолютную тишину, — соседство с о.Cholón, популярным местом пляжных вечеринок примерно в 500 метрах от отеля. Туда приходит много лодок, катеров и яхт, и примерно с 11:00 до 16:00 оттуда может довольно громко доноситься музыка. В выходные вечеринки бывают активнее и иногда продолжаются до ночи. Нам это серьёзно не мешало, но людям, чувствительным к шуму, обязательно стоит учитывать этот момент. При этом это не вина Playa Scondida: Cholón находится на другой территории, и отель никак не может влиять на происходящее там.
Второй момент — море. Утром оно замечательное: тёплое и обычно спокойное. Но после обеда часто поднимаются ветер и волна, к берегу прибивает водоросли и иногда мусор. Возле пирса дно местами илистое и заросшее водорослями, поэтому заходить в воду не всегда приятно. Мы быстро поняли, что лучшее время для купания — раннее утро и первая половина дня.
Ещё одна особенность — к пирсу периодически подплывают местные жители на лодках и гидроциклах, предлагая экскурсии, катание на гидроциклах и «банане», устрицы и другие товары и услуги. Это немного нарушает ощущение полного уединения, особенно если хочется просто спокойно лежать на пирсе. Но ведут себя они корректно: достаточно отказаться, и никто настойчиво приставать не будет.
Также нужно учитывать удалённость отеля. Дорога на Бару местами довольно плохая, а рядом с Playa Scondida практически нет магазинов, ресторанов и другой инфраструктуры. Поэтому выбор еды и развлечений в значительной степени ограничен тем, что предлагает сам отель. Для нас это проблемой не стало, но лучше знать об этом заранее.
В целом ни один из этих "недостатков" не испортил нам отдых. Большая их часть связана не с самим Playa Scondida, а с особенностями его расположения на Бару. Если знать о них заранее, никаких неприятных сюрпризов не будет.

A small, homely hotel, perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, sleep comfortably, and enjoy a delicious, home-cooked meal. Most importantly, it's the cozy atmosphere created by a delicate but very strong woman. She's responsible for everything—the cleanliness and decor of the rooms, the organization of massages and excursions, and the delicious, hearty food. And most importantly, her patience—communicating with residents who don't speak Spanish.

Un lugar para volver
Pros:

El hotel es muy tranquilo, las instalaciones son muy cómodas y en muy buen estado. Queda muy bien ubicado para disfrutar de las actividades que ofrece Barú y las Islas del Rosario. El servicio es excepcional, Sergio y Lucrecia siempre estuvieron muy atentos para garantizar una estadía maravillosa. Muchas gracias! Muy recomendado.

Great!
Pros:

We loved the intimate feel of this small hotel. It was very easy to get from the beach to the dock to the restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff took great care of us. Lots of great adventures to be had as well - snorkeling under the dock, swimming in the bioluminescence, and checking out all the birds at the National Aviary.

Pros:

L’hôtel est entouré de superbes jardins, très bien entretenus, et offre une magnifique vue sur la mer. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la piscine. Des kayaks sont également mis à disposition, ce qui permet de rejoindre en une quinzaine de minutes une très belle plage aux eaux turquoise.

Ce qui fait vraiment toute la différence, c’est le service absolument exceptionnel de Lucrecia et Sergio. Leur attention, leur gentillesse et leur grande prévenance ont rendu notre séjour mémorable. Un immense merci à eux !

Descanso y reconexión.
Pros:

Los detalles tanto de la cabaña, como del lugar, la vista, la naturaleza, y lo genuino que es este "spot" en Baru. Paisaje maravilloso, buena comida, desconexión laboral, conexión emocional. Lo recomiendo 100%.

Cons:

Aunque no depende del establecimiento, a veces "la rumba en cholón", isla al frente, puede superar por momentos los deciveles permitidos. Lo bueno es que a las 4 pm finaliza radicalmente. Esto es un tema para todo el sector, no en especifico para este hotel.

Le week end end l'île d'en face reçoit beaucoup de bateaux qui viennent pour y faire la fête, la musique est à fond, c'est un peu gênant dans la journée. Le soir tout redevient calme.

Peaceful escape
Pros:

The highlight of the hotel is definitely the staff. Mrs. Lucretia and Mr. Sergio were exceptional-both went above and beyond. They were always attentive, kind, and clearly worked very hard to maintain the property and assist guests. Their dedication truly made a positive impression on us. That said, the staff deserve recognition for their effort and hospitality.

Cons:

The room itself did not fully meet our expectations, especially considering the price. The bungalow we received did not quite match the photos and description shown at the time of booking, which was a bit disappointing. There were also a few comfort and maintenance issues. The mosquito net above the bed had an unusual shape that made sleeping somewhat uncomfortable, and the bed itself felt a bit short. Unfortunately, despite the mosquito net, we still experienced mosquito bites. The toilet occasionally had issues refilling with water, and there was no hot water during our stay. The towels also appeared somewhat worn.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff

Cons:

We had a rental car and drove to the hotel ourselves, some locals tried to make our car stop by throwing themselves in front of the car to take our money, we continued driving as soon as we noticed this but they kept on following us with motor bikes. The hotel should have warned us, since according to them, it is common there.

Cons:

- Le fait qu’il y avait des enfants tres jeunes et tres bruyants alors qu’il est inscrit que l'hôtel n'autorise les enfants uniquement de plus de 8 ans. Nous recherchions le calme : c’est raté.
- le fait que nous avions reçu un message indiquant que l'hôtel offrait un service de navette depuis l'aéroport (sans indication de frais supplémentaires). Nous avons été surprises d'être récupérées par quelqu'un qui a conduit tout le trajet en envoyant des messages sur son téléphone et en conduisant très dangereusement. Nous avons été encore plus surprises et déçues quand au moment du départ on nous a réclamé 330 000 cop pour payer cette fameuse offre de transfert (presque 2 fois le prix d’un uber pour avoir cru avoir un accident à chaque intersection).

Cela aurait pu être parfait sans ces deux déceptions.

Gentilissimo staff Lucrecia e Sergio, se non ci fossero loro due che lavorano ininterrottamente il posto avrebbe chiuso da anni

Splendido giardino, stanze vecchie e senza attrezzature minime, molto mal tenute. Manca pure l’acqua cslda. Dovrebbe costare la metà e sarebbe già troppo

The site and team that run the property and wonderful and can't do enough for you.

Cons:

It's a real shame for the property because they have clearly taken great care to create a wonderful environment but there huge boats that dock right in front of the property playing unbearably loud and terrible music, with jet skies darting around all over the place. Apparently this happens most days 11am-4pm and theres nothing they can do about it. I think it's a real shame, we left because of it.
