Great place - not too big, offers cultural immersion.
Pros:

Restaurant staff was very friendly, especially Catherine. And Captain Henry was an amazing guide on the tour to Mnemba Island. The entertainment program was generous. The beach gave a close-up into the community rituals.

Cons:

The food was good, but lacked a strong local taste. I wasn't sure how to handle the room windows - sometimes reflective but in the evening I felt like you could see through the windows. The door lock was not very secure.

Pros:

L’établissement fut du premier jour au dernier jour un paradis ! Le personnel est adorable , le buffet est très bon , et les chambres sont très agréables.

Cons:

La plage n’est pas très agréable pour se baigner directement ! Ceci dit , il suffit de faire 5 minutes de marche pour trouver un endroit qui l’est !

Schönes Hotel in Kendwa
Pros:

Die Unterkunft hat eine super Lage, die Zimmer sind sehr groß und sauber. Der Strand ist direkt vor der Tür und die Mitarbeiter sind außerordentlich freundlich. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr kundenorientiert und fragen ständig nach Verbesserungswünschen und Feedback.

Cons:

Die Matratzen sollten dringend ausgewechselt werden, zu einem erholsamen Urlaub ist guter Schlaf ein Riesen Faktor.
Wir persönlich fanden das Restaurant deutlich zu Teuer. Mittags 25€ pro Person und Abends 30€ pro Person für ein Buffet mit verhältnismäßig wenig Auswahl deutlich zu teuer!

Okay stay
Pros:

Nice to see the local fisher people at work and easy walk to most everything available at the beach.

Cons:

The food. I would give it a 4 (generous) out of 10.

Amazing stay
Pros:

Had the best stay here just a few steps from the ocean. The manager upgraded the room for free to the ocean view room, staff prepared a birthday surprise for me with ballons and a cake. All in all, the staff was amazing, always helpful and in a good mood. Wonderful breakfast buffet as well.
