Brilliant location close to the blue flag beach, the buffet breakfast and dinner were very good, I haven’t tried the lunch. The room was also very nice and I liked the pool as well. I think the value for money was great.
At first I didn’t like that the pool was deep, it was like 1.8m, but I got used to it.
The staff were absolutely incredible, they were all so nice and friendly and helped with whatever I needed.
The pool is also very nice and the hotel is in a greater location just two minutes walk from the beach surrounded by stores, bars and restaurants.
The bar staff, and afternoon receptionist were very polite. The pool area was nice
On arrival at Casa Orama the receptionist couldn't find my reservation. She politely asked me to take a seat and made a few calls. I was then asked to show my confirmation from Booking.com which I forwarded via email. After around 40 minutes of waiting, the receptionist apologised and told me she would take me to a different hotel down the street for the evening and I could return in the morning where my room would be ready. The next morning I arrived back at 11am on check out of the other hotel, a different receptionist asked me to wait at the pool bar, I ordered a coffee and waited by the pool for an hour with all my belongings. The receptionist then came and passed me a key card. When I got to the room there were no towels, I went back down to reception for the towels and the day receptionist was less than apologetic. The shower head did not stay on the wall fitting due to it being flimsy and the water pressure being quite high (not a bad thing). There was mould in the seals around the sink, and rust around the bathroom fittings. The wall around the bathroom in the bedroom had a patch of filler and was very dirty. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were flat. There is an Aircon unit in the room at this hotel, but it's very poor. I discussed the whole moving situation with the day receptionist who simply said they'd put me in a 5 star for the night and upgraded me to 'all inclusive' there was no apology from this member of staff for my situation, I was not explained the all inclusive before this point and I had not been told food service times. The AstroTurf in the garden next to the pool area is burning hot.
