Staff, especially Tariq.
Breakfast very poor. Toaster that you had to hold down to work. Boiled eggs that appear to have been there various days. Having to ask to replenish items. Rooms poor, mattresses dipping in the middle. First night no soap at all. Second night no toilet paper.
The hotel was okay overall, but nothing particularly special. On the plus side, the location is quite convenient—about a 10-minute walk from downtown, which made exploring the area easy.
The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. When we discovered that the power sockets in our room weren't working, he resolved the issue quickly and professionally, which we really appreciated.
the hotel itself is quite old and clearly in need of renovation. The room was noisy, partly due to the windows not being properly sealed, which made it hard to get a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, there was also no insect repellent or netting, so I woke up with multiple mosquito bites—not exactly a pleasant way to start the day.
The room lacked a few expected amenities: there was no hairdryer or hair conditioner, and the toiletries provided were very basic.
The elevator situation was also frustrating—there’s only one small lift that fits about three people, and if it's busy, you’re stuck waiting or using the service stairs.
Breakfast was just okay. I recommend going early, as food was not replenished regularly and some items ran out. There was also a cooking station with a hot frying pan, but no clear instructions—so it was unclear whether guests were supposed to cook the eggs by themselves.
Good location near downtown Amman. The facilities staff who we needed to call on were friendly and helpful.
The rooms were tired and shabby and the bathroom needed de-scaling. Also there were some unsafe electrics in the bedroom. We chose not to eat breakfast at the hotel on Day 2 as it was of a very poor standard. A shame to have to write this review for our last two nights of a 9 day visit to Jordan where everywhere else we stayed, including Amman for our first night was of exceptional quality.

shower pressure was weak and too much light comes in through the curtains in the morning.
Easy walking distance to lots of stuff just to the west of the Citadel.
Rooms were old and somewhat dirty. Did not reflect the price charged.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was excellent – the staff were friendly and helpful, the restaurant served delicious food, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Highly recommended

the location of this hotel is close to the amman citadel, and accommodation provided fresh water in a bottle every day.
this hotel is not a 4-star hotel but a 2-star hotel, since it doesn't fulfill the standard of a 4-star hotel. the beds were very worn down. every day we had a problem with the bathroom, first cleaning staff did leave any toilet paper and we had to ask for it, second day the same problem and light of the bathroom went dark. third day we had the same problem with the toilet paper plus cleaning staff didn't leave towels and we had to ask. the daily breakfast was diverse but there were not plates nor cups or glasess and we had to ask for it every day. this is not a 4-star behavior.
