The apartment is located on the tenth floor of an old, tired, unsightly building that is scary to enter in the middle of the night. You take the elevator to the apartment, which is very old and you have a hard time deciding to enter it. We were welcomed in the middle of the night by a very friendly host who cleaned the dirty toilet at our request. The room I booked was not available because someone else was in it, so there was no view. The host brought us basic breakfast to the terrace at the top of the building, where there was a truly beautiful view of the museum and the pyramids. You can get to the museum on foot, but despite the museum being very close, you have to walk for about 20 minutes because you can't cross the fenced road - there is no passage, overpass or underpass.
Like most of the hotels around Giza, outside they are not beckoning you to come inside but once in you get something quirky, unique and an experience. Mostly what I like about the place was the hostess who cooked me breakfast every morning. She was sweet, kind, and worked hard as she cleaned room as well. She made the stay positive for me.
Well when I arrived I didn’t get the room I paid for my first night as the guy running it was actually staying in it. However he left and I got it the next night. Thought I still got charged for the better room for two nights. So after 30 hours of traveling to not get the room I paid for was a bit of a let down. Also second night I could sleep at all. The guys to me was literally screaming into the phone or singing at the top of his lungs until 2am then started back up at 5am. In addition there was another person staying across from me who at the same hours as the previously mentioned would come out into the hall with a booming voice and talk on his phone as well as slam the door every time. There was a restaurant advertised with the location with pictures and as far as I could tell it doesn’t exist. Never saw it. I went up to the roof and was told there was some disagreement happening between the hotel and the rooftop inn. So I would have to pay at the time of eating as it wouldn’t get added to the bill. The balcony doors won’t shut properly and especially on the first night with three flies that tag-teamed me. And ultimately it’s a little less nice than the pictures.
I know this sounds like a bad review but I don’t mean it to only be about the negatives which there were. But the biggest positives are the people, our hosted who I would converse with over Google Translate was just so genuine, kind, and accommodating. The guy that was in the room I had purchased that first night was also very welcoming and nice to chat with. The guys upstairs at the rooftop bar/restaurant were very friendly and welcoming. The people there were just awesome. And the hotel isn’t that bad, I just had some very great positives along with some legit negatives. You are in Giza so it’s not going to be the Hilton but it is going to be a bit of immersion into the life of tge folks who inhabit the building, their lifestyle and I felt more than welcome into it.

I like the warm welcoming from MR Ahmed and Mr Walid , I felt like home , all the staff were amazing helpful and nice , just beyond expectation, definitely will be back again.
The place is quiet, safe, and the magnificent view of the three pyramids and the Grand Museum is clearly visible from the terrace. It is also close to Sphinx Airport.
The room is clean and they are very welcoming and generous with guests.

I loved the view of the pyramids and Grand Egyptian Museum!
I felt my room was very adequate and just right. (I was in room 3)
Everything worked. I didn't watch TV, though.
Lovely clean room with a good view of the pyramids.

Young guy running the place could not do enough for us. Muhammad is brilliant 👏 cheap price but excellent. View of pyramids and New museum. Clean and modern if small. Breakfast included for £32? Felt perfectly safe. What is not to like?
