The view was very good, and we were satisfied with our stay. However, the staff were not very familiar or friendly. Later, I felt that this might have been because my family is local. Until our departure, no one came to speak with us. When it was time to settle the bill, I had to go to the reception myself. Mr. Angelo handled the process professionally, and that was all. With our arrival no briefing were given about the hotel. Just we had a Cup of Coffee as a welcome drink.
Around 7:00 AM, my children were planning to have an early breakfast. I inquired about the à la carte menu, but I was informed that it would only be available after 9:00 AM. However, they mentioned that a standard set menu was available at any time. I do not understand why breakfast could not be arranged, especially since I was willing to pay.
This situation led us to leave the hotel early without enjoying the surroundings, which was disappointing. We were unhappy with how this matter was handled. It appeared that the staff lacked proper food and beverage (F&B) experience.
No wi-fi connecting procedure was available when we go to room on arrival. But on following day morning i saw there is a QR code on the reception.
Lækker pool med udsigt.
Dejlig værelse med udsigt ud over byen. Vores værelse lå i en anden bygning overfor for resten af hotellet. Det gjorde afstandene lidt længere, men gav også en fed udsigt.
Det ligger et stykke fra byen, men det lever man med når man ser Kandy oppefra.
Vi syntes ikke restauranten var særlig opløftende. Vi oplevede også flere gange at der ikke var personale tilstede.
Til den pris det koster savner jeg bedre service, bl.a. i forhold til veksling af kontanter, en mere tilgænglig bar og hjælp til transport til byen.

I booked a family suite in the other building which was perfect. The room was big, clean and had an amazing view of the valley and city.
The rooftop pool. The views of the hills and valley. The breakfast. Dinner buffets were amazing. Staff were very helpful. Great little gym!

This was my worse stay at a hotel. Hotel front office manager does not know about hospitality and was lying many instances.
Linen were not clean and room has bad smell due to poor cleaning

Det var lite svårt för taxi att ta sig till boendet och kändes krångligt att ta sig ner till staden. Upplevde också att det var lyhört ut till korridoren, då det hördes väl in till hotellrummet när personalen städade på morgonen.

Rooms are clean and the facility is new
Family suites are not in the pictures that they advertise. They are in a seperate building upstairs of the car park. Does not include any view of the mountains. This is false advertising
This place is very nice, the staff are extremely helpful and the pool is beautiful. Breakfast and dinner buffets are quite good with a good variety. Views are very nice from the pool and rooftop bar.
The location is a bit hard to find, best to call the hotel and get directions and also difficult to get to especially if you are in a larger vehicle. Room had a few geckos and ants but apart from that the room was nice and clean.
Amazing hotel and perfect stay for Christmas! This was our second time at Skyloft. We stayed in the new apartments which provided our family lots of space. The staff helped our family make Christmas magical for our children by providing a small Christmas tree to decorate. The building is beautiful and well decorated. Clean. We sat at the rooftop bar every night. Al la carte food was great. Buffet breakfast was ok. Yes it is far from downtown but as a result you get an amazing panoramic view of the surrounding hills. Sunsets are stunning.
Needs more sunloungers by pool and comfortable furniture in common areas. Pool is very cold and would be nice to be heated slightly. Shouldn’t have to pay to play pool table.
