I do not recommend if you care about service and hygiene.
Pros:

Using WeChat with Chinese communication went well, not sure of international English speakers though. The staff is willing to communicate with the boss about refunding and improving. However, it is a sinking ship.

Cons:

* As soon as a colleague entered the room, he had a serious allergic reaction and had to change to two sets of beds.

* The hotel is not the owner of the property, so there is a lot of room for improvement in management.

* Hygiene issues: worn bath towels, many cockroaches in the bathroom, dirty wall lights on the second floor (you can turn on the lights at night to check), and yellow stains on pillowcases

* Equipment problems: Toilet failure and electric skylight failure on the second floor are exempt. Light cannot be blocked. Bidet not working. There are too many TV ads, which are basically helping to market Xiaomi TV.

* The cleaning lady will permanently cut off the power and the room will be very hot. There is no "Do Not Disturb" sign.

* Long door lock code: 8 digits (imagine input this 10 times a day!)

* The hotel rooms are some of the rooms located in the building, so there is no counter. But there are guards who need to communicate with access control. They should give each guest a card for lobby access and room use. (RFID and NFC cards are not difficult to make)

* Environmental issues: There is no air conditioning in the lobby on the first floor. There are noisy school activities nearby.

If the whole thing is remote management, managers should at least come to the site to experience it.

PS. This is the first time I have taken my colleagues and wife to Guangzhou on a business trip. I am really sorry to them.

Great place to chill out.
Pros:

Central to Canton Fair, 150m to tram line and close to the subway. Host responded very quickly with queries, would stay again.

The apartment is a good place to stay. 3-5 minutes to walk to the metro station. Super convenient!
