Pleasant location in small village, quite close to the airport by car, well set out double bedroom, with a very good choice for breakfast(hot or cold).
Disappointed to find no indoor pool; and Leisure centre being refurbished, so just gym & outside pool.
The breakfast was really good, got what I ordered.
The location of the hotel is lovely.
On opening the door to my room and glancing around I noticed that the duvet covers were lumpy and not a good sight to see, though it was a comfortable bed. A good night sleep was had.

Booked and had the email etc confirming, then booked our flights and hire car, then got an email from the hotel so say other bookings had confirmed so there were no rooms available, when we complained to booking.com they said they couldn’t get an answer from the hotel, the hotel then emailed saying they had booked us in to another hotel call the barberie? All very disappointing as stayed several times before in the 90s and 00s, and were looking forward to going back, so can only guess that they take more bookings than they can accommodate and some of them don’t confirm due to last minute cancellation options but if too many carry on you end up were we were with flights booked and nowhere to stay! Needless to say will never use again!

All amazing and a very relaxing place to stay for the weekend.
Ease of spa facilities. Room lovely, clean snd comfortable. Very quiet location. Good facilities. Very friendly helpful staff. Abundance of towels when needed and good hot towel rail in bathroom. Shower superb! The spa area was fab with steam room and two jacuzzis. Lovely and clean too.
Slight musty smell throughout hotel. Noisy toilets throughout sometimes difficult to flush. In spa could do with buttons nearer the jacuzzi to operate the bubbles! It was a shame that outdoor pool open to non-residents as sometimes overly busy and no sunbeds available!

Breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was a farther from the city centre than expected and the bus ride to and from the city was long and tedious. The bed was small (double, not queen as expected) however it was comfortable just cramped for two people).
The hotel in general needs maintenance-ie stains on the carpet, roof under entrance car port needs repairs (missing and broken boards).
The grounds were pleasant the staff were warm and welcoming.

This is a solid three star hotel in need of redecoration with friendly staff who helped whenever they could. I appreciated that when we pointed out that the two TV remotes in our room (205) were not working the very next day a new one was given to us.
The shower over the bath was excellent (but the bath panel kept moving). The toiletries were welcome (but no hair conditioner). Every day we received new clean and fluffy towels (but very little space to house them in the bathroom).
The breakfast tray was fantastic with biscuits, tea and instant coffee - including decaf (but the kettle was extremely stained inside). The outside pool was too noisy for us (music and children splashing) but the inside swimming pool was great (but tiles are missing in the hot tubs). There is ample free parking but in case of events you will still struggle to find a spot. We enjoyed a full English breakfast evey morning and when the self-service coffee machine was not working our coffee was brought to us by a friendly member of staff.
Our room was cleaned every day but the carpet is extremely stained. Pieces of the wardrobe door are ready to fall off and one of the lamp shades near the bed is broken and is only placed on top of the holder. There are no USB sockets near the bed. The mattress was confortable enough but the sheets were too small for the bed and could not tuck in properly. The indoor swimming pool has a broken table and two broken rattan chair that shed on the slippery floor. There are also only two plastic chairs for all the swimmers.
Staff were excellent, friendly and attentive. They offered good advice on food for our grandson who had recently diagnosed coeliac.
Good car parking and good location for airport and other routes.

I wanted a sandwich around 4.30 pm and could only get plain crisps from bar. Disappointed as I had to go back out to work in the evening.
All in all very pleasant just needs a little face-lift.
