Extremely disappointing experience at a beautiful villa with dishonest management.

The property itself is stunning

Cons:

The property itself is stunning, but the way we were treated by the management completely ruined our impression. After paying a significant amount to stay at Villa Santa Chiara, we were shocked by the level of neglect and lack of integrity.

We discovered mold and grime inside the washing machine, a television that didn’t work because it was incorrectly set up, and requests made on day one that were completely ignored without a single apology or follow-up. We handled these issues ourselves without complaint, until the owner attempted to charge us €50 for a broken €19.90 mass-produced plaster statue, which still had the original price tag attached to the bottom.

When I pointed out the price tag and proof of its actual value, instead of apologizing for the mistake, the host became defensive and called my reaction “offensive.” Trying to overcharge a paying guest for a cheap decorative item, after failing to provide basic hospitality, is unprofessional and dishonest.

This villa may look luxurious, but appearances mean nothing when the people running it lack integrity. Travelers deserve transparency and respect, not excuses or inflated charges. Until management changes how they treat guests, I would strongly advise booking elsewhere.

From the moment we arrived, this hotel exceeded every expectation. The breathtaking views were the first thing that captured our hearts, the ocean view, sunsets by the water, every moment felt magical.

The service was impeccable, with staff who were genuinely kind, attentive, and always ready to help. Every detail, from the beautifully designed rooms and view to Positano, it was just perfect.

It was the perfect escape, and we’re already dreaming about coming back.

We really enjoyed drinking our morning coffee and eating our meals from the beautiful, large terrace overlooking the magnificent landscape, sea, and architecture of Positano. We would like to thank Tiziana, her daughter, and Razi for being so gracious, kind, and warm who met our every needs during our stay!

Pros:

La Villa es impresionante. Enorme, con una terraza inmensa y una vista espectacular. Está impecable y con todo lo imaginable. El personal es muy atento, pendiente de todos los detalles. Pedimos el chef para el desayuno y fue increíble. Fue el 25 aniversario soñado en el lugar ideal. Antes de dejar la Villa ya estábamos planificando cuándo volveremos con nuestros hijos. Las maravillas se deben compartir.

Cons:

Cuando todo es perfecto es imposible decir que algo no me gustó. Está a unos minutos de Positano, pero tiene que estarlo para tener esas vistas y esa tranquilidad.

A dream villa in Positano 💆‍♀️
Pros:

This is truly the most beautiful villa in Positano, maybe even on the whole Amalfi Coast. The view is absolutely breathtaking – a paradise for the eyes and peace for the soul. The location is perfect: far from the crowds so you can fully relax, but still very easy and quick to reach everything you need. The rooms are spotless, and the owners and staff are extremely kind, welcoming, and always happy to help. I can’t recommend this villa enough and I honestly can’t wait to come back!

There is absolutely nothing not to like – everything was perfect.
