When in Dodoma, the obvious choice, but apparently a bit difficult to find for many bolt drivers.
Pros:

The wine tasting (and the Domiya Wines) was a great and very enjoyable experience. The kitchen is generally good, breakfast and dinner (I did not have lunch). Hiking in the hills behind the Estate (the Antenna Hill) makes for a nice outdoor exercise, before indulging in the Wines.

Cons:

The rooms have a variety of plugs for electricity, and it was not obvious where to connect the tea-cooker. Not all the rooms seem to have a safe-keeping box.. Bolt drivers seem to have problems finding the place. Some sign posts along the dirt road up to the estate might help.

Overall the place is nice to stay but considering the location and the quality of the room, I’d rather stay at a hotel i

The property is calm and nice to enjoy the atmosphere. The food at the restaurant is good.

Cons:

The restaurant had many customers over the weekend while there were only 2 waiters, we had to wait for a long time to get our meal and the waiter was rude.
The location is just a bit far from the city center and road is not so well. The room is clean but not much lights.

Nice location but CHECK FOR NATURAL LIGHT
Pros:

Yes. We loved the property - the staff were amazing, the food great, fascinating to find out about Tz wine and a nice little (cool) swimming pool.

Cons:

Our room was spacious but had ZERO natural light (!). I tried to see if this was advised when booking but don’t believe it was. Our room was next to a series of offices and looked out onto an internal corridor. Considering we had quite a long stay and had selected the location for its fresh air and greenery it felt very strange (and overpriced) to not have any natural light. It reminded me of my backpacking days. We asked to be moved but it was holiday season so fully booked. Such a shame about this room as the rest was lovely.

Pros:

I spent 3 days in Domiya Estate. I really enjoyed the attention to details (such as Egyptian linen and very comfortable bed), the lush garden, very reach breakfast and excellent dinner menu. I also strongly recommend trying the locally produced wine. I would definitely come back.

Cons:

There is nothing I did not like about the place, but believe that a small gym would be of a great added value

Fantastic Oasis
Pros:

what an oasis!! beautiful rooms and fantastic food.... and all so tastefully done! ...

Cons:

its tricky to find! the directions and google maps takes you into a maze of narrow bad roads ... and upset we missed reading about the opportunity for a wine tasting session... could be better advertised

Die Lage, die gute Küche!

Cons:

Ich war bereits in 2025 zu Besuch und damals zu 100% begeistert.
Diesmal: Deluxe Room, angeblich, jedoch ohne Safe und TV
Personal wische den Boden der Frühstücksterrasse während der Frühstückszeit. Erst meine massive Androhung sofort das Management von diesem Vorfall zu informieren , beendete den Putzversuch!
Warmer Weißwein: zum Lunch wurde zweimal der Versuch unternommen, uns schlecht gekühlten Weißwein zu servieren. Mit einer Selbstverständlichkeit, die für ein professionell geführtes und auf Wein spezialisiertes Haus, unvorstellbar ist!
So wird es wohl mein letzter Besuch hier gewesen sein, denn schlechten Service kann ich überall bekommen - nur deutlich billiger!!!

Pros:

Comfy bed with local wines on offer. Very accommodating despite a Christmas Day arrival.

Pros:

Nice quiet location. Superior room was very large and comfortable. Swimming pool in quiet area of hotel grounds. Nice gardens and flowers!

Reception staff named Glory deserves a huge Thank You for being so caring and attentive and always helpful.

Cons:

Superior/ executive rooms seem to cater to only one person. Extra towels and cups and water glasses needed for a couple.

Service in the dining room was poor. Ability to communicate with staff was difficult.
Buffet breakfast simple but adequate. Would suggest fresh bread daily!!

Tasteful decor, delicious food & lovely garden
Pros:

The place is tastefully decorated and comfortable. The restaurant is fantastic- delicious food, good wine and good service, with a beautiful garden setting. The Manager Andrew was very engaging and friendly.

Cons:

Though it didn’t disturb me much, some guests may be affected by the noise from passing SGR trains and external diners.
