Plumber was called and did fix as we were leaving but we were allowed to leave car in car park until 1pm thanks to excel

Stylish, great location and well appointed
Pros:

Very good location, close to the race course and easily walkable to all of the city centre. Roodee is on the top floor so bear in mind that there are c3 or 4 flights of stairs and no lift, if you have lots of luggage. Parking was pre-booed and very convenient and close. The room apartment was very well appointed;clen and stylish. Just remember that there is no air conditioning so in very hot weather this is likely to be uncomfortable, given its top floor locationn and large windows.

Cons:

Whilst not often, the temperature was very warm, given the hot weather.

Better value staying in a Premier Inn
Pros:

Central location to the city centre. Was clean and modern.

Cons:

Room was located on the bottom floor at the front of the building. No air conditioning so had to open the windows. We were then kept awake by people entering the building and passing partygoers. Shutting the windows made little difference as they were single pane. One of the properties features was ‘sound proofed’. I had emailed the property prior to arrival to ask if there was parking but had no reply. I emailed again on the day of leaving to say I was disappointed with our night’s stay & 5 days later still no reply. Overpriced for the experience.

Amazing stay, highly recommend & will be back.
Pros:

Stunning room, the bathroom was wonderful, bath & shower. Perfect location, so close to the centre. Liked self-check in. Cold water in fridge was appreciated on hottest day of the year.

Cons:

There was tea & coffee but no milk. Tried to find a member of staff before 6pm but no-one around so had to go out & buy some. Tiny issue, was still a wonderful stay.

The Fabulous Seven
Pros:

Everything we needed at The Seven, a fabulous Townhouse. Great location with local parking & easy walking distance of the City Centre.

Clean and comfortable, would stay again.
Pros:

It was very comfortable, the bed was nice and high and pillows were soft. Great water pressure and was almost immediately hot. Bath towels were a really good size, mini fridge is a nice touch. Cleanliness was immaculate. Distance to our restaurant booking at the grill was less than a 3 min walk. We would definitely stay here again.

Cons:

The only downside is the app wouldn’t let us alter our stay to be a night earlier although through messages the seven said it was available. This is an issue with booking.com though not the properties fault. When calling to try to fix this earlier there is no response on the phone lines however and slow response on the messages.
